Are we going to be requiring proof of vaccine/negative test upon the return to the ground? I'm 32 but still haven't had my vaccine(s). Have got a season ticket so what happens if we require proof I don't have?

If you want them, go to a walk-in if you can.

And who knows, doesn't really go along with the "no restrictions" does it? But the EFL may enforce it.

I won't be fully vaccinated either but not heard that I need a passport.

Official announcement not made yet but papers saying it's happening

Obviously until it's made official details will be sketchy.

Why not get your jabs ! if you had your 1st when it was there to have you probably would have got your 2nd before the season starts.
No chance of having both now at least you can make a start with the 1st.
You maybe only 32 ! But still can get a serious illness.
Get jabbed !!!!

I took part in a react study earlier this year by Ipsos Mori, and they test your antibodies aswel as doing a PCR test for data purpose to see how the vaccine compares to different outcomes of people. My results indicated I have been exposed to covid in the past and have antibodies. That should be enough to be given a passport, as the vaccine gives you the same antibodies I already have.

Oh FFS, please don’t bring this debate into general blades chat. It’s bad enough on the other threads.

You can get your NHS Certificate of Vaccination (once you’re double jabbed) by following this link…

Just climb on top on the bus stop on the corner of Cherry St and John St and jump the wall.
Did that for every home game.in 79 when my dad lost his job and we needed the ticket money for bog roll.
80 was a good year as I stole all the bog roll from the cop toilets meaning I didn't have to rip my keks on the barbed wire and outrun the fat stewards.

In 1983 I bummed a cat.. Nothing to do with ground entrance though, so I'll save that for another thread on off topic chat.

Be a negative lateral flow test on the app within 48 hours prior to the game I guess, as the euros were.
This seems like the most sensible option, supported by the Telegraph sport article. Common sense approach should prevail, especially after fans have been pretty much shafted for over a year now.

Is it too early for results from post Euro final test to be assessed/distributed?

Don't you watch the news? It's 2021-Pull yourself together and STORM THE GATES ! (only don't wear anything decent because they re-painting the turnstiles on the morning of the match).

Bribe the nurse to sign your card. She gets a little bonus and you get a passport 😊

But how long would it take to have things checked or scanned by turnstile operators? There's already about 50 people per steward, and then they're checking bags on top of QR codes, on top helping out folk who STILL don't know how to use the turnstile, on top of helping out those whose cards aren't working properly. 3pm kick offs you'd need to start queueing at 130. Logistically this is a nightmare.

Get the NHS app (not the track and trace app), you'll need to creat an account and need your NHS number, but you can get that on .gov.uk, just Google 'find my NHS number'.

The app is where you get your covid pass from if you're entitled to one. The info page says the following:

NHS COVID Pass

How can you get one?

You can get an NHS COVID Pass if you've been tested, vaccinated, can prove natural immunity after having contracted COVID-19 - or if you fall into one of the exempt categories.

Testing

You have a negative LFT or PCR test taken within 48 hours of reporting. This can be done either at a testing site (where reporting is automatic) or at home and self-reported via the 'Register my test result' service.

Once you have registered your LFT test, it can take up to two hours for your result to show but is often a lot quicker.

Vaccination

It's 2 weeks since receiving your second dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

Once you have been vaccinated, it can take up to 5 days for your records to show.

Natural immunity

If you've previously tested positive for COVID-19 using a PCR test, and it's been at least 10 days since your positive result, you are eligible for a NHS COVID Pass for up to 180 days from the test date.

Exemptions

You may have taken part in a COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial or you have a medical exemption.

That covid app tracks you. And I don't want anyone knowing I've done the school run and been to asda.
If you're referring to my post, I said to download the NHS app, not the NHS Track and Trace app.

Also, you have a phone in your pocket that is constantly tracking your position, unless you leave your house without your mobile phone you're been tracked anyway, not downloading the NHS appnisnt going to stop that.

Why not get your jabs !

I'm not injecting drugs with unknown long term effects into my system to protect against an illness that's less likely to kill me than my commute to work, thanks

Apps shit, just take a screenshot 😂

Yeah, this is going to be a huge problem. Went to a couple of NFL games in the US a couple of years back where they have solely app-based mobile ticketing, you can't just take a PDF or a screenshot. Didn't work at the gates either time

Been to several cricket matches at Headingley and Edgbaston and Euros at Wembley and not had an issue with this at any. Plenty near to me have shown screen shots too or a paper confirmation of both jabs.

Biggest issue at the lane I can see will be the steward checking… not enough numbers and no space for an “outer” cordon for the checking away from the main turnstile queue. Won’t work in my humble opinion!
