Taking my Blades specs off... Maguire ain't a touch on Ferdinand, Campbell and Terry. Not to mention players before my time like Jack Charlton and Bobby Moore

Maybe. But Maguire plays exceptionally well for England.
That era completely let the country down by not parking club rivalries & buying into the national team. Poor managers insisting on 4-4-2 and leaving Schooes out also didn't help mind..

Purely on my personal opinion

But then again I thought JOC was our third best central defender in the first Prem season and I’m aware it’s an unpopular viewpoint. I think I’ve put it on the “Confess your unpopular opinions thread”.

But in my opinion Coady is a better defender. Not Mings though.
