He's a professional footballer and all he's doing is dragging the name Sheffield United through the shit, yet you say well done I give up!!!!!!!
Question, would you put up with that in the street, in front of your missus when you just wanna walk home..???

If you define yourself by what job you do I feel sorry for you, he's only 3 years older than the bottle job who's insulting him for no reason other than he's a footballer and he thinks his insta rep will go up..

Sorry love, he can just treat me like a cunt because of my job... If he hits me I can't do owt anyway even though I'm 6.7 tall and fit as fuck.. Come on.. Ffs..

Oh boy to compound our worst season EVER, we now have McBurnie arrested and isn't Mousset up in court next month for wrapping his Lamborghini round loads of cars

According to BBC just now its not McBurnie that was arrested its the guy who shot the video. "A 27 year old man has been arrested". McBurnie isnt 27. It then said Sheffield United is investigating with McBurnie.

Yes McBurnie should have walked away and not got involved. However do we really need to waste police and court time on this. Looks a case of one idiot trying to provoke another idiot, getting the reaction he was trying to provoke and coming of worse for his troubles. No innocent parties here and would much rather police time used on solving more serious crimes. However no doubt it will have to go the full course now that the pillar of morality the Sun has got involved.

I remember one time in Stoke where some enterprising youths gave their opinion on me after I declined to purchase cigarettes for them. I also remember sighing and walking away. And I don't have a media profile to worry about.

We're talking about some morons saying mean things, and they're tosspots for doing that. It could even rise to the level of harassment if it's repeated or assault if they make McBurnie feel threatened. What it doesn't mean is the excuse of "but he called me names first" that didn't pass when you were five suddenly becomes okay now you're 24.

I've had my altercations (at least one that did get to the level of me reporting to the police) but I can genuinely say I've never in my life walked up to someone and hit them because they shouted at me.

To be fair, If someone insulted a lass I was with like that, I'd have filled them in too. Having said that, no matter how much they might have deserved a clip, it is assault. The court wouldn't be too interested in the bits and pieces.

Looks like McB saw red and reacted. Justified or not, if you react and someone is aiming a camera at you, well you can see what is going to happen. The other guy involved laid a none too subtle trap, amd McB got suckered in.

Easy to say on a message board though, how you SHOULD react. Put yourself in that situation and think how you WOULD react.

A bit more context to what preceded the previous video.

Not quite how the "victim" described it to The Scum "newspaper".

Don't think McBurnie is getting in trouble somehow.

Assuming it's the same person who took both videos.
I did think the two videos were on different sides of the road. Anyway, I can see how he snapped.
Hope they don't use evidence from matches against him though, he gets mad way too easily.

Really weird how so many people seemingly think the only way to respond to the situation is to go and fight with the person calling you names. Like that is really going to resolve the issue and not just inflame it and make it worse whilst implicating yourself and potential end up facing criminal charges.

And if I say I know for a fact I wouldn't react like that, can we all agree that adults can in fact control their impulses? Because I know, for a fact, that I wouldn't.

Fair enough, and you'd be right.

But does McB strike you as a person who can control his impulses? Not that it makes it right, just asking the question.

I'd like to know how long the little cunt had been following McBurnie with his phone recording all the abuse? Why should anyone have to put up with that? Probably was abusing Oli in the pub garden, Oli left only to be followed around town. The piece of shit got off lightly if you ask me, I'd have put him in ER to have the phone surgically removed. The twat is a Leeds fan so he needed a slap, well done Oli.
For all you ❄️❄️❄️❄️ how many of you said the same when Billy tightshirt slapped someone or when Curtis drove for a hour to confront a youth giving him grief. We have had more than one or two players who were handy with there fists most are looked on as club legends well maybe not legends but good lads.
Sickening to see the abuse McBurnie gets from what should be his own fans.

No. We can’t agree on that. I can’t. Not always. Most of the time I can but sometimes not. Some of my mates are like that too, others aren’t. Those that aren’t should consider themselves fortunate because doing the right thing tends to make life a bit easier.

What's your view on the moon landing pictures??
🤣🤣
Personally, I think he actually went there. These sort of things are just too hard to fake.

I agree. He obviously was doing it to act the big man and show off. But then is surprised when he gets a smack for being a nobhead.

To all those saying he should have walked away.
How do you know he doesn't get grief from people every day and this time he's just thought no I'm sick of this I'm going to give this one a clout.

That lad is no better than the keyboard warriors on social media. Don't give it out if you do t expect a slap.

I've just said on the SB that all these posters saying he should just walk away are fuelling these gobby, entitled little pricks. Same with those other absolute scrotes with the girls at the train station that went viral yesterday.

The exact thing these twats need is a good crack every time they start mouthing off as eventually they may think better of it. By just walking away you're just leeting them think they've got away with it and their offending will usually intensify.

Thats life out on the street.....maybe your'e wrapped up in cotton wool but in the real world it doesn't happen like that. Try & show some understanding, we're not all saints

Did they abuse you every day ??????

Slightly different to this incident but what I can't grasp is why there are so many people out there looking to cause trouble with people they have no clue who they could potentially be messing with!

What these people don't ever seem to consider is that one day they might just upset the wrong person and get a bit of a shock when they do the thick twats.
For social media clicks and likes...

That's it.

I can't believe that amount of 'model upstanding citizens' we have on here.

The same that undoubtedly would offer a burglar a cup of tea instead of a baseball bat, because the latter is illegal.
