Jebbison got subbed on Friday night so maybe he's not fit?Interesting that no Ayari, Jebbison and N'Diaye in the both squads.

If he was trying to make a case to play first team football today wasn’t his day. He was poor today imo. Flashes of the passing range and ability that he has but as an all round midfield performance it wasn’t great. Wasted a couple of chances which he would have to take at senior level and gave away the ball close to our area a lot which he would be punished for.Still don't see why it would hurt giving him a game in first team, he's got nothing to lose and were already down. No pressure.
Didn't it take about 4 hours to get that Youth Cup match done? They're all probably still a little bit knackered!!Jebbison got subbed on Friday night so maybe he's not fit?
Losing 1-0. Have been well on top but do look very sloppy.
Gone to VillaInteresting that no Ayari, Jebbison and N'Diaye in the both squads.
Corner flags were being blown all over we seemed to want to put the ball in the air for some reason Swansea didn’t.Im presuming it was quite windy today not great conditions to play football in
Ndaye? Presumably there’ll be a fee to pay?Gone to Villa

I think Ayari has only played about once for the U23s.Defence is a little poor at times but the forwards and Ayari when they are on point are red hot. Very little back tracking all the way to the goal/CD's compared to that other team.
I hope so...but now we’re out of the PL the PL clubs can take advantage of the ‘smaller’ clubs such as us. Or is that a function of the Academy level? I really can’t remember how it works...I think he was being sarcastic.
Correct. Just one U23 start for Ayari this season. (I'm guessing some posters get mixed up having seen his U18 Highlights Reel)I think Ayari has only played about once for the U23s.

Featuring a very healthy proportion of players who play most of their games for this U23 side, check the lineups from the youth Cup!U18s
United offer pro deals at 16 which can be signed with parental consent in order to protect against this. We do lose players most years though from the under 16s down. It's all structured so that the buying team pays a set fee depending on the academy level of the selling club, how long the player has been there and various other things. Although I think that would only apply to a youngster who isn't yet on a professional contract once they turn 17 or 18 (I forget which). You'd like to think our better youngsters such as Brooks, Ayari and Jebbison etc are all on professional contracts already, but this is United we're talking about though.![]()
