About as big a contrast as there can be, in terms of anticipating a game. We were still new in the Premier League, this was the match I was looking forward to the most, a chance to see a brand new state of the art stadium and really believe the that we were in the big time. A great performance, for sixty minutes we outplayed them and, who knows, but for John Lundsram's big toe we could have won the game. Today, six hours before kick off, no fans allowed to go, the forum is quiet, we are relegated and people are more interested in Line Of Duty. Oh well, we will be back!

Wilder certainly has a lot to answer for !

Shit stadium and a shit game of football that was ruined by VAR.

Nobody even celebrated Baldock's equaliser.

Good day out drinking in London though.

I agree about the equaliser, it was very strange. But for around an hour we played some superb football. What didn't you like about the stadium? I am not a fan of a lot of the new identical grounds, but Spurs ground is distinctive and has fantastic facilities and a great view of the pitch.

We played really well that day but overall I thought it was a dull game of football.

I don't like new stadiums and Tottenham's did nothing to change my opinion on that. It's just a copy of the Emirates with different coloured seats. It doesn't look like a football stadium from the outside and it doesn't feel like a football stadium when you get inside it.

It's a magnificent piece of architecture and will be excellent for hosting a Taylor Swift concert but a football ground?

Not for me.

More intrest in Line of Duty?,that series as gone down worse than the Blades. From the first 2 series to now its shocking. So woke its unbelievable. Only my opinion.

Totally respect that opinion, but I have to say it gave me a bit of a stonker. It had a lot going for it 😆, but then I'm a millennial and if it's all shiny and multi coloured at the expense of tradition, I'm all in.

I hope we never do it to the lane though.

Fantastic stadium, fantastic Blades performance, madness when we equalised, plenty of booze before and after the match - cracking day out !
