I thought there was a slight chance that he was referring to ‘drawers’ the sense of underwear, then I realised it was McBurnie and that he’s likely just spelt it wrong.

I think he was intentionally using the Spanish translation of drawers as a metaphor. Subtly suggesting that the greed of the Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid is now becoming visible to all as the underwear drawer is fully opened.
