He’s not coming back !
Sounds like Wilder to me, he never did own any of his mistakes at the end of the day and he still isn't. I don't get where that is class, I call it passing the buck and looking after his self interests. Still all that matters is he got his pay off and no relegation on his CV technically.Nothing about that sounds like Wilder,
My guess written by LMA or lawyer and Wilder just given it the thumbs up to be circulated
For when he starts his new job, he can have a little parade at the lane next seasonWhat's the point of this and why now?
I knew you'd be the classy one Chris.Must have taken a lot to keep stum, but ultimately you've made the right decision. I'm looking forward to your full account being made public, and embarrassing one or two.
Thanks for the memories!
I was responding to this bit of the post.Yes you can, that's how pretty much all managers leave this club eventually, with boos ringing in their ears.
A lot of our fans are twats and it's time they were called out on it. This "poor, long suffering Blades" bollocks doesn't cut it. Sometimes you end up with the club you deserve.
A bone fide Blades Legend
So enlighten us then, why did he walk away?Chris Wilder as ever class act, different league to the "Chairman" and all those who have suddenly decided he's a 'bottler'.
So enlighten us then, why did he walk away?
CW can indeed be thanked for 4 glorious years but despite his flowery, gushing "please continue to love me" statement he walked when it got too tough.....if he is as bigger Blade as he makes out in his statement he would have stayed.....but he didn't get his own way this time.
I wouldn't worry about being called a pig by some on here they are due another ban soon but alas they will be back with their 6th username in time to shit stir before the new season, don't rise to the bait. You'll be accused of being pig for stating things like that. (I agree with you btw).

"All 30,000 of us rode high on his shoulders for 4 years, and wore him down."
Were we supposed to not enjoy it in case we wore the poor fella out? It was year five that fucked him if anything.
Wilder didn't have boos ringing in his ears once and I still think he had enough slack not to get boos right at the end, even if there was fans in the ground. He wasn't pushed out by the fans at all.
Who are all these other clubs that would be happy with this season though? Its been wank. And still the vast majority wanted him to stay and would have him back tomorrow.Yes you can, that's how pretty much all managers leave this club eventually, with boos ringing in their ears.

Who leaves a club well thought of? Ferguson, Wenger (maybe)? Even Pochettino was getting slagged off by the end. Klopp is getting stick this year. The reason being that they weren't physically there to do it. If they had, there would've been scrapping on the back of the kop by November.
Nobody leaves here well thought of, and that's a fact.

United fans are no better or worse than others for booing or turning on managers/players.
You just don't like other people who use this forum very much.
This.. 100%. And even Fergie got criticised for leaving a team ill prepared for the next stage of their development.Who leaves a club well thought of? Ferguson, Wenger (maybe)? Even Pochettino was getting slagged off by the end. Klopp is getting stick this year.
Fans are fans
I think it's fair to say your starting point is disdain for most people? Nothing wrong with that I just think how close you are to what goes on at United amplifies what goes on. We've had shit owners who've picked shit managers, who've signed shit players. Like almost every club in the league. That's not accurate, I like a few people on here, two of them are close friends actually.
I've seen the same thing played out over and over down the years, some managers have deserved fucking off but always, the calls for their heads have gone up prematurely.
Are we the worst? maybe not, but it's bad enough, and it's getting worse. I'm not just saying things for the sake of it.
I don't worry about being called apiglapdog, I know I'm a Blade. It's easier for them to call peoplePigslapdogs than accept opinions may differ to theirs.

Maybe I was a little over the top yesterday when I said fuck him on page 1, but he walked out on us when we needed him the most, that pissed me off. It was cowardly and defeatist. I never saw CW as any of those until he left the club in this position. He was happy to take the credit but bolted when some criticism was due. (I would have had him here next season had he wanted to stay).

And their fans are just as mardy and display it just as quickly as ours

Maybe a little OTT S12 Blade but your comments show to me you are the bang opposite of a Pig, how strongly you feel and how much you think CW has let down the club he claims to love so much.
I suppose the rest who are now having a revised love-in with "top man, classy, messiah" Wilder would take their missus back after she left home for another man...
I see it for what it is....a well manufactured statement put together to achieve nothing much at all apart from massaging egos.
More rubbish
More rubbish
I don't think you're divisive or toxic. I also don't think a very small minority being complete dicks about Wilder is representative of the fan base. Complete guess but maybe 5 in a hundred have real issues with Wilder and it's mainly because he dared to be rich and successful (and they are pricks) and then he wanted more money. Like they wouldn't have done the exact same thing themselves. You may be right about all of the above. But I've rarely slagged off the board, I tolerate a lot of shit from bad managers until I criticise them (I was even sticking up for Adkins for half a season for Christ sake), and only a few players have come in for some stick from me (not that any of that matters, I'm just one among thousands).
Conversely, every single day since Chris Wilder left, there's been unsubstantiated bollocks being propagated about him by those who have no fucking clue what went off. He doesn't deserve that, nobody does actually.
It's been vicious and sustained and it's far more toxic and divisive than anything I could ever post on here. And the amount of those doing it isn't insignificant.
No I think you’ll find it’s because you’re talking nonsense. Why, because it doesn't agree with your rose tinted rhetoric?
