I can only comment on the performances of my lifetime (I'm 40). What I meant by "behind" was in terms of performances rather than points

We were shite in 1975/76. Conceded 5 goals in 4 games and 4 goals in 3 games

We've been shite for the last 41 games. Only scored 28 goals and 12 of those came in 5 games, so outside that it's 16 goals in 36 games.

its not Norton aerodrome that land was given to SCC by the goverment on the proviso it was used for housing if it isnt used for housing they have to pay the government the market value, which wont happen.

At the same stage in 75-76 (after 30 games) we had the same 14pts we had only won 2 games but had drawn 8 games. We would go on that season to get 28pts (42 games) so another 14pts from 12 games. At the end of the season we had won 6 games, drawn 10 and lost 26. With 8 games remaining we have already lost 24 and on course to lose more than 26 in a 38 game season.
