Up at Lightwood apparently near Norton.Noticed from the times article about the academy there are plans (delayed by Covid apparently) to have a new site for the training ground and use Shirecliffe purely as the academy. Maybe I missed it but that was news to me. I wonder where they're considering for the training ground?
I like the prince and I agree with much of what he has said but we'll know much more about his plans for the club in the next year. I'm reserving judgement until well into next season.
I wouldn't describe our facilities as Poundland. Yes, if Swansea and Liverpool are Harrods and Selfridges then we are probably more Marks and Spencer. Now if you turn right out of our facilities top gate, go to the roundabout, take a left, turn after the railway bridge, so straight across at first traffic lights, go right at the next traffic light junction and then continue for a mile or so, you will find something that resembles Poundland Retail Outlet. He spoke well, possibly transparent if accurate. I reserve judgement until next season based on:
1. New manager employed
2. Which players are sold
3. Who's signed
4. Facilities improvement
4 might seem the biggest irrelevance but if we want to sign good players we can't have poundland facilities
The Prince's interview with Sky will have been pre-recorded the day (or days?) before it was released so that Chris Wilder and his representatives could be allowed to challenge anything the Prince said and, if necessary, have the LMA look at it, I presume everything the Prince said was therefore truthful and not slanderous.
Such a shame I even have to write a sentence like that, I wish it had all ended so differently. This season has been really the worst in my life.
2010-2011? (not having a go like, but that was so much worse imho, actually perhaps even the end of the 2012 season)
In Blades terms you've had an easy life thenThe Prince's interview with Sky will have been pre-recorded the day (or days?) before it was released so that Chris Wilder and his representatives could be allowed to challenge anything the Prince said and, if necessary, have the LMA look at it, I presume everything the Prince said was therefore truthful and not slanderous.

Well that's all he can do isn't it.TBF I agree with the OP - the Prince does come across really well in the Prince’s interview on the Prince’s view of the dispute with Wilder.![]()
He’s even holding the scarf the right way up in that photo. And I must say I've watched it 20x and I can't fault anything he says,he mentions money but that's coz he's a businessman but he also seems to have sufc in his best interests.View attachment 109975

Can’t ask for any more than that, and lovely that he was able to put his side of the story across unopposed.
This. I’m told that interview was about 60 minutes after the gagging order on Wilder was signed.TBF I agree with the OP - the Prince does come across really well in the Prince’s interview on the Prince’s view of the dispute with Wilder.![]()

I’d treat it all with a pinch of salt, and as the Prince says, let “actions speak louder than words”.
Wasn’t it the other way around? Academy to be up at Norton. First team to remain at Shirecliffe (redeveloped).Noticed from the times article about the academy there are plans (delayed by Covid apparently) to have a new site for the training ground and use Shirecliffe purely as the academy. Yeah I only started watching last season. The problem with Arsenal is, they always try to walk it in.
If so could be the old aerodrome..bin fuck all for years now.Up at Lightwood apparently near Norton.
We've never been this far behind the competition, we can't go to the games, Wilder has gone, the fan base is divided. In Blades terms you've had an easy life then
Maybe I was too harsh on comparing it to Poundland....is Lidl ok?I wouldn't describe our facilities as Poundland.
