Yes, we’d probably have been promoted to the Premier League that season if we had Mitrovic instead of any of the others you name.

We did have a pot to piss in. We just had a completely unambitious megalomaniac idiot running the club, more interested in conveyor-belting managers in and out of the door and flogging players from under them to prevent any old feeling of being above ourselves and achieving some or other promotional gains. Of course, each managerial fuck up cost him cash anyway, and his epic shithousery eventually unseated him, than fuck.

Just think what we may have gained from a striker who can hit the target and score against the four aforementioned suitcases we currently have? Last season we scored 45 goals across three competitions and this season less than half that.

One finished joint top scorer in a team that finished 9th in the PL, scoring a few crucial goals along the way, and the other is now valued at almost twice what he was bought for. So by some metrics they did go well

Whether he's Prem quality is subjective but what is not in question is that his wages certainly are Prem level.

Even if Fulham do decide to either sell or loan him next season (I've seen nothing to indicate they're even considering doing so), I would be surprised if he's within Utd's price range, both in terms of fee or covering his salary.

I'd love Mitrovic but we won't be able to afford him.

I remember going to the Fulham away match in our first season back in the Championship. He absolutely terrorised our defence & was throwing Stearman around like a ragdoll. If I remember rightly, he scored & then stood in front of Stearman tensing his biceps. It was fine shithousery & the sort of thing our fans would have loved to have seen if he was on our side.

Fulham played exceptional football that night, which does make me curious about that Jokanovic fellas credentials.
