Symbolism plays a large part in all cultures and societies across the globe.

Going down on one knee is always a sign of submission. In the UK a knight kneels before the Monarch.

Could it be that as we were the proponents of taking the knee after lockdown one we have inadvertently turned the "universal energy" or suchlike against us.

Will our natural balance only be restored when either we or football as a whole returns to standing?

I think you probably meant "in the process of being knighted" or "as I'm being knighted" or "while I'm being knighted". Anything, anything, anything would be better than "just prior". Keep low....

I'll clarify. I realise my wording was loose. Sorry. I was suggesting kneeling just PRIOR to being knighted (and, therefore possibly standing or crawling DURING the actual knighting) could be seen as a snub to that woman from the big house - or the monarch as you grovellers call her.
