All say Terrible decision in getting rid of Chris Wilder the best man to get promotion
Surely if he's gone then the announcement is he's gone and they are finalising the split but I'm not sure he's gone.
Seems strange this one maybe a Bluff hope so

I dunno whose on the panel but I’d say none of them have managed recently if at all

For the first time in 24 hours, there's a glimpse of positivity.

If those Muppets think it's a terrible decision, that by default it must be a good

It’s shocking that there is no clarity

They are saying what we think and at the moment owing to the lockdown and us being restricted .....YES

You may need to hear them say what you are thinking I dont
They are well paid for their opinions they are an irellevance in the big scheme of things
Just because Paul Merson says doesnt make it so

But you still watch them😂

Merson did make one very good point about the DOF position. Basically he could understand the Prince insisting on one if we were still in the PL but not in the Champ, as Wilder knows that league as well as anyone. Then if we get promoted again, Wilder has to agree to one.

I have just posted on the ITKish thread, that I wonder if this is one of the compromises that could see both parties agree to giving it another go?

Roy Keane would no doubt say he deserved to be sacked and his opinion would hold as equally low weight as the other 3.

Nobody knows what's happened or why both parties have come to this decision. For all we know Wilder might have demanded that he gets to wear The Princes crown in the dug out.

The whole football world including us want him to stay. The only people who don’t don’t have a clue.

Got to be honest we have stopped watching it this year.first couple of weeks back the line up had sue Smith , Clinton Morrison and glen Johnson on.it was painful to watch and I'm sure you could see that Jeff thought the same. I think he will be off soon .

Ok, so we get promoted, will Wilder then be happy to bring in a Director of Football? Doubt it.

If it’s the way we want to move forward as a club, I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t get a Directior of Football in the Championship. Surely we still want to improve foreign recruitment for example regardless of which division we are in?

Only the Prince and his hanger on's think it is a good idea to part company with Chris Wilder. Anyone who follows football from Pep Guardiola to the youngest fans are astounded by this decision.
You’re forgetting about half a dozen vociferous gobshites on here.

Whether it's a good decision or not, I wouldn't trust the presenters of that show to tell me the correct time.

Not really, a lot of people I’ve spoken to aren’t surprised. Take a look at the league table for the reason why.

True, Wilder has made mistakes but looking at the next manager candidates none even come close. I'm starting to think PA might have brought in this Van Winkel guy to be Wilders replacement from day one but held off as we were pushing for a European spot. As soon as results are poor it seems he couldn't wait to stick the knife in Wilder's back. I very much doubt Van Winkel will get us back in the Premier league in less time than it took Chris Wilder to drag us out from League one.
