He has left, a close friend of his has admitted it to me. Gutted.

Oh do please climb outside of your own arsehole.

Simon Jordan is dead against the Rooney rule anyway, so I can't see how 'cosying up' to him would mean we'd want to get a high-profile BAME manager in.

Here's a newsflash for you: black and Asian people aren't out to take away what you've got.
No that wasn’t my point and I apologise if that’s how it’s come across. I’m not against the appointment of a BAME manager in principle if it were to be done for the right reasons I.e he’s the best candidate for the job. However as to my mind there isn’t a standout BAME managerial candidate at this time as in my opinion the game has an issue with encouraging BAME former players into coaching roles then any appointment would be for other than footballing reasons. Darren Moore is probably the most prominent BAME manager to my mind. If I have caused any offence I apologise as again that wasn’t my intent.

If there is truly a conversation ongoing peps comments are more likely to swing the opinion of our board than anything the fans think.

To be fair, managers always stick together on these type of things. When do you ever hear a manager say another manager deserved the sack?

That’s true I’m just talking in terms of clout in the princes thinking.

There's no way he's staying now it will just be sorting the details

As some of u know my Mrs works for sky sports, sky have pulled the story as he IS STILL manager, the current situation is Wilder is still our manager as of 13.30 and talks are ongoing between owners. The press conference has been moved to 5pm now as club hopes to have a resolution. The mrs is speaking with club and they haven’t announced anything due to ongoing talks. I will update through the afternoon if i hear more, the wifes at Shirecliffe now camping outside lol

I hope you haven’t outed Mrs Hodges-Leftfoot here........

What the hell has the colour of someone skin got to do with getting the best manager for the job.

Absolute fu(king nonsense of a discussion.

Fair play for pulling one of those fit Sky Sports birds!

👏👏👏👏👏

If this is true it a massive shame. Chris Wilder got us up to the premier league. he deserves to try and get us back up.
The Prince should be ashamed of himself. he has not delivered on his promise to give the funds.to buy players that will keep us there.
What do you expect when nearly all the clubs best players out injured for a long time. any club will suffer. look at Liverpool. best players out injured. they have the squad to keep in the top ten. the difference is we can,t afford a big squad. It all comes down to money. as usual, we have a board with a lack of ambition. I have no clue who can do a job and get us back up.

I’m making my way to the Bessemer to get the table next to the one Tufty and his mates sit at , so l can.............

bollocks!

I suspect Chris wouldn't go without agreeing a settlement or the backroom staff, as well as himself.

Not a sacking but closer to agreement on departure. Seems Heckingbottom has to get out of a bubble first to manage the team.

Please, if there really is a God . . . . . Come on lads, just sort it out, shake hands and when next season comes around 'we go again!' . . . . . . COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIIIZZZAAARRRDDDSSS!!!!!
Please stay Sir Chris Wilder.

I’ve a theory that Chris has put the story out there for leverage on the DoF ultimatum. The board might have said that if he can’t accept it, he goes.

There’s huge proof now that if he was to go 99% of our fan base would be pissed off, pros in the game confused, world class managers baffled and the media offering their support.

You think that in order to improve his relationship with the board, Chris Wilder has invented a story that he's been sacked by the board, so that the fans turn on the board, and that the board will now love Chris Wilder because the fans now hate them?

Does Scooby Doo turn up in a second, rip the mask off Chris Wilder and reveal him to be the Ghost of Kevin McCabe?

When was the last time a manager was announced as sacked or even resigned? It’s always “mutual consent” these days.

Have you ever heard of politics?

Also, I never said to improve his relationship with the board, I said to gain leverage.

Yes covers the non disclosure agreement part of the leaving process.
