It's worth remembering that United World bought an existing Indian Football Club - Calicut Quartz FC - with fans, a ground, an identity - shifted them to a different town 30 miles away, changed their name (Kerala United FFS), badge & kit colours, completely rebranding them for their own rich man's disposable plaything reasons. The game stealing grifting bastards.

I've only ever had a very small amount of in the know information. Most of it of no interest. But, I was told by a reliable source that the Prince had tried to sign one of the Academy youngsters who was being released by Utd for his Dubai team. (That move didn't happen). So, in a weird twist Utd were being used as the Feeder Club.

Tbf they were only formed in 76 and went professional in 2011. Maybe it wasn't a big deal to them. They haven't changed beerschot who have more of a history.

Wimbledon getting in the League, turning professional, and being franchised to MK timeline (ish). It would have been a very big deal for any Calicut Quartz fans - two of them, 200 of them, 2000 of them, whatever. Wrong....

Yeah Lowton was the exception to the rule and unfortunately we didn’t get the fruits of that loan spell, Villa and Burnley did. Plenty went to Fradi and were never seen again.

It’s great to buy up loads of football teams when your core team is performing. At the moment I’d rather any available funds be diverted into the Blades and not French 2nd division, Belgian super league or Indian clubs.

I know it’s trendy to have clubs dotted around the world but only if they actually produce or develop decent players. I’m sure Monty was grateful for CCM though, better than dropping down the leagues here I suppose.

I’m a sceptic on these things as the likelihood is that if we’ve gone half arsed into the PL, we’ve gone half arsed into the other ventures as well.

That's a completely baseless accusation unless the, soon to be unveiled, accounts say any different.

I agree it's not a great look while we're struggling but as owner he's free to spend his money how he so wishes.

It's easy for us fans to demand how, how much and on what he should be spending but it's not our money to spend. Until the accounts are released I'm not quite sure how anyone can know for sure how much a season without crowds has cost the club and what the ramifications of relegation will be.
