I think atrocious crossing from the flanks has been one of United's big failings (as well as a shocking defence and blunt strikers) all season. However our strikers, especially Evans and Cresswell never stretch the opposition defence, no speed to get round the back, no skill or imagination to create something out of nothing, no agression, power or aerial ability (the only time we won headers up top today was when Bent and Voges were brought on). The only one who in any way does ask defenders any type of question is Bogdanovic and he never gets a decent run in the team.

Pupp, have you been much this year? Whipping boys are the likes of Monty and Quinn. Players who are criticised no matter how they play. Cresswell is criticised because week after week he offers nothing. I am yet to come across one Blade (who goes) who sees something in him.

I don't think anyone is laying lots of blame at his feet either. We seem pretty unanimous in the opinion that the whole squad is lacking.

Spot on Lt.
Strikers graveyard is a very good analogy of our current plight.
The best strikers around at the moment wouldn't score goals in our current team. It's the least creative bunch i've seen in absolutely years.
But, to lose out on a player to the dingles just shows how far we haven't come!!
To think MA's genuinely believed that Bent would score goals for us is a joke.
