Do people not see the accusations being laid at Lundstram are the same traits and characteristics that Wilder is displaying...lack of interest, going through the motions, playing it safe, lack of effort.

The abuse thrown at one and not the other is quite remarkable. (That said throwing abuse helps no one)

I couldn't disagree more with you on this one. The one thing that you cannot accuse CW of is a lack of interest in all things SUFC or lack of effort. For fucks sake the man bleeds red n white.

By all means have a pop at him for his stubbornness in refusing to change tactics, or his sometimes baffling subs, or his and his recruitment teams poor judgement (this last year) in the transfer market, or the decision not to bring in a replacement for O'Connell, Lundstram and not giving us an option or two out wide, or in midfield, or overpaying massively for a few players. Or his clear spikyness in interviews if he's asked any real probing questions which he doesn't like. These are all fair game points as far as I'm concerned and CW and his management team have fucked up royally this season and last pre season. They should be held accountable and told they must learn from it and improve hugely all round in the summer, off the back of this shit show or he will be out on his arse with the rest of his team (loyal but not sentimental....remember that one? well that cuts both ways).

But he should never be accused him of lack of interest. That's simply not true.

Listen, that wasn’t great. But one man stands out most weeks, John fucking Lundstram.
Overrated by our manager, overrated by fans who don’t support us because of his few goals and FPL record, and seriously overrated by himself.

He’s fucking wank. He’s had about 10 good games in 3 years and shows no commitment whatsoever. That 3rd goal is the icing on top of the cherry on top of the icing on top of the cake. Passed it out for a throw in about 5 mins prior, gave it to their players at every attempt.
He’s literally watched Fredericks in the 18 YARD BOX!! Walked towards him without a care in the world.

Enough of me keeping my powder dry. I cannot stand the cunt, he’s fucking wank, put him in the reserves for the rest of the season and give someone who gives a fuck a bit of Premier League game time.

There are some individual exceptions in the players who have shown fight and they should be exempt, but the rest....the relief of those gutless wasters being shown the door will be like finally getting your arse sat on the privy after you've been desperate all day and had a dodgy kebab and 8 pints of guiness the previous night. The sheer relief at defecating out some of this seasons shit will be fantastic.

I don’t think he will be. This blind spot with Lundstram has shown a huge weakness in CW, he has allowed himself to be dictated to and pushed around by an at best ordinary player and the whole squad have seen it unfold.

An even bigger problem is Mcburnie ..this bloke is a total disaster ..the quintessential Jonah .every time he plays SUFC look terrible ..when he was missing ..well Sheff Utd looked a chance to beat the drop .. albeit a small chance
The biggest waste of 20 Million quid in EPL History ..his job is to score goals and he fails miserably

If good old Lunny was to sign a new contract with us after this seasons total lack of application and effort on his part, then that is me 100% done with Mr Wilder and the club until both have gone (but not that that would bother anyone but me I know).

That decision would stink the place out and be an insult to the fans. Thankfully I don't think it will come to that. A parting of the ways with SUFC and good ol Lunny is inevitable. And thank fuck for that.

I guess it depends on what you interpret a lack of interest or effort as. For me, refusing to even change system when the team is one the worst run ever seen in the top flight is one, a system that creates little but yet is defensively a bit all over the place, the fact that the team still concede easy goals from set plays is another, is in my opinion a lack of interest and or effort. I have no issue with us losing game after game, we have no god given right to win matches, but some of the basics being done poorly week after week with seemingly little reproach for players from the management again smack of a lack of interest. To a degree you could throw that accusation at the board - Wilder is seemingly untouchable it seems and potentially carries to much power at the club.

Lundstrum clearly isnt interested in playing for us mate. Everyone can see it except Wilder. But you know for a fact he will be starting against Villa.
