That it doesn't rank in the top 10 of terrible performances this season is a perfect summation of what's been a giant bag of shit.

I'll always defend Norwood's previous contributions but he's currently a liability. An under 10's coach would stop the game and use it as a teaching moment if a player played that pass in a training session

I use the Stevens against Millwall error as an example of his issues tracking high balls as well. It's why he can't play as a centre back. The bigger problem is he's not contributing anything going forward and he's making too many errors defensively. He has been run into the ground. Played every minute of every game (almost) for 3 seasons. His time as a top 2 divisions player is over I think

Lunny can go fuck himself after last night. I've defended him in the past because he does have good attributes (mobile, gets in the box, defends well). But they have all gone and we are left with someone who thinks he's Pirlo but plays like Hammond

And here's another example of our problems, when McGoldrick heads the ball into the back of the defender! 😒

Are we actually doing a Bournemouth it seems to be going that way. What I mean is the team are getting so bad that Ramsdale ends up MOTM and player of the year ! :)
All credit to him loved him shouting at the idiots in front of him. He needs to do that a lot more.

8 for mcoldrick!!! He missed 2 absolute sitters , free headers straight at keeper , then had another effort he should have hit first time, I know he's a lot of people's favourite as he links play well, but Jesus Christ the chances he misses
Too right, McGoldrick needs to up his game, he shoots either over the bar or straight at Goalie. Flim-Flams around all the game . promises much- achieves nothing.

Hate losing to these wankers at West Ham. Run by Porn Merchants, got that prat Karen Brady on board ( Sorry Peschi ). Still owe us for that relegation episode.

that game the over 60's play what is it called walking football?
WTF Im over 60 and I certainly do not play walking football

With regard to the game
Low marks / critiscism for Bogle dont really agree, the problem was we didnt really attack down the right especially in the first half. Was that his fault ? Was it tactical ? or did it just happen that way
I thought Ampadu had a good game going forwards but obviously lost his man for the second goal

Enda Stevens has not performed anywhere near his standards from last season, I know there are many others that havent but hes been terrible,a liability along with Norwood, they may well be OK in the Championship but I think its the end of the road for them. Lundstram well he can fuck off and Ive said that as others have since the beginning of the season.

I thought we had some good possession but were too slow in our build up as many have said and have been for most of the season this may work in the Championship but we need improvement, some pace some dynamism in midfield Burke could possible provide that hes not a striker but would he be better deployed a little deeper ?

Up top I think Brewster will come good in the Championship, Billy will be good to have in the squad along with McGoldrick. Burke has pace and will probably find it easier in the Championship alongside McBurnie who Im still not sure about. Still think we need to sign another striker

We need to prepare for the Championship but Im not for chucking youngsters in for the sake of it as the Premiership is a pretty unforgiving place and could ruin a youngsters confidence but I think Wilder should make a few tweaks in the squad, maybe try Baldock and Bogle together

It's amazing to see how many people on here have finally woken up and started to smell the coffee! 🤨

mcgoldrick misses sitters every game great player but striker no

Have to agree with the original poster‘s view of the game. We were so verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slooooooooooow going forward and while we are not scoring cannot afford to have Norwood on the pitch giving the ball away time after time. One small consolation was not having to sit through 15 mins of Burke running around quickly but with no clue what to do with the ball whenever he got it. As for the commentators, listening to the pair of them was like having your teeth drilled, don’t they realise that 90 minutes of negative statistics detracts from what little enjoyment there is from watching even more? Was hoping for some respite as it wasn’t another match for Bill Leslie but no. Sound off in future, when fans get back into the stadium, I’d love to see a crowd noise no commentator option. Finally and trivial, I know, but why did we have to wear a chsnge kit? Surely red and white stripes is no clash with claret and blue

Spot on with the summary Pomppey don’t no how you find the heart to do it after the latest load of shit served up.

Pommpey, what's your score prediction for the Fulham game?
2-0 to them.

Can't see us doing anything. Wilder will play the same old faces in the same old positions playing the same old Wilderball.

----------------------------------------------Ramsdale--------------------------------------------

Bogle----------------Basham------------------Jags-----------------Ampadu-------------Stevens

---------------------LLLLL-hfff----------Norrw-FUCK-shit--------Osborn-----------------------

0:00 - 10:00: "Ooooh! We're up for this!" (loads of interesting shit, but no actual attempts on goal)
10:00 - 20:00: Pushed back a bit. Still no attempts on goal. Two corners. Norwood hits the front man
20:00 - 24:00: First Fulham attack. Midfield loses control. Ramsdale parries saveable shot straight to Lemina but he was offside anyway
25:00: Another corner. Hits first man. Well done Norwood. Sweet feet.
25:00 - 28:00: United go Wilderball down one side, back, down the other side. Back, down the first side. Blocked in. Lose possession
28:00: Fulham midfield dispossess Norwood transitting Wilderball and push on. Maja header. 1-0. Lundstram stands and claps
29:00: Ramsdale finally dives for Maja header. Misses.
30:00 - 39:00: Fulham in charge of midfield now. Norwood yellow card for tripping Reed. Lundstram carries ball into touch and shows his cock and balls to Wilder
42:00: Jags injured. Carried off to OAP home. Bryan on. He didn't look like he wanted to go on, as it was a bit cold and he was texting Serfey on Snapbook
42:00 - 45:00: United threaten. From a goalkick
45:00: Ref blows for HT. Realises Fulham only have nine on the pitch, and one of the missing players is the goalkeeper who is still locked in the dressing room shithouse

46:00 - 55:00: United press with more Wilderball. Norwood trying to boss things from midfield. He picks the ball up from Bryan and floats a wonderful pass to Baldock, who isn't even playing
56:00: Midfield being overrrun now. Fulham's strength of numbers in the middle of the park now showing. Their goalkeeper has had to climb over the top of the cubicle and is now ready for the ref to wave him on
57:00: No sign of the other Fulham missing player. They've been playing two at the back all game, which is good because Sharp has just got a touch. He rounds the defender, squares it to Lundstram who narrowly fires it over. It lands in the Thames.
56:00 - 70:00: A period of sustained United pressure as we drive at the weak areas down their flanks, looking for the chance to get the right cross in. We do this sixty times.
72:00: Fulham sub two players, replacing one (Lookman) with a nine year old schoolgirl
75:00: Schoolgirl skins Stevens and she's off down the wing, diagonally arrows in toward an exposed Ramsdale who is coming out to narrow the angle. Stevens closes near and puts in a stupendously harsh tackle, high studs, straight down the back of her uniform. Stevens get a red. Fulham get a penalty.
76:00: Loftus-Cheek sends Ramsdale the wrong way and makes it 2-0
77:00 CW brings Basham and Norwood off and puts McBurnie, Brewster, Burke, Moussett and Foderingham on. Looks like he means it now
80:00 - 89:00: Chucking everyone forward and more Wilderball, Ramsdale attempts a bicycle kick. He misses it. United have a penalty appeal waved away. VAR say Bryan's challenge was fair on Lemina.
90:00: Three minutes of injury time.Wilder has already fucked off. Lundstram makes his first pass to a United player.
90:00+3: Ref blows for full time. Narrow margins. How are Sheffield United where they are? Chris Wilder is hampered by injuries. He used to be a ball boy.

A more in-depth answer than I'd expected! Very much a feeling of a old Flashing Blade article (that's a compliment).

For what it's worth, I'm going for 2-1, with a goal for Norwood.

Good read, especially the Ariana Grande comment. Any confidence I had left for the team died with that game. Can't really big anyone up. Think Ampadu is turning into a decent player, it's good we're bedding him in for Chelski.

They'll all come good at Fulham and we will surprise ourselves with an early goal and a 3-0 victory.
