I agree but we changed that role when we signed Norwood, Coutts barely played any passes longer than 10 yds.

Yeah I agree with that it’s more about how fast and how accurately you move the ball in that position as opposed to the distance maybe the way we play could be changed to suit Berge in that role but I think he’ll really develop into a hell of an all round midfielder just needs that end product.

norwoods gone for me he wants so much time on the ball and is way too slow cant see it but really hope berge stays next season and forms the central pivot with fleck but we definetly need a number 10 to come in if were to play 3412 again

Some of our fans have turned into the fans we supposedly hate. Expecting to smash little old Bristol City for 8.

100% this. We're one game from. Wembley and a semi final.

Some of our greatest memories over the last couple of decades have been the cup runs, this is no different to beating Forest to set up the Charlton game. If anything we're much better equipped to actually win it than back then. Shouldn't take it for granted.

We've controlled and beaten a decent team. Winning as favourites is never as exciting but it's winning. It's a good thing the days of being the lower league last minute winning underdogs has gone... For now!

They have so many injuries and people just not fit. That's nowhere near a full Bristol City side. it's a miracle they're anywhere near the play-offs and they certainly didn't play like a top-half Championship team fighting for a quarter final place in the cup.

Yes they've got injuries. But Kalas. Mawson. Hunt. Vyder. Diedrou?!? Wells are all 1st choice. The 4 players they brought on are all 1st teamers too.

Most of their injuries are long term and haven't coincided with their recent slump.

For all the stick Norwood has received recently he does actually try to build attacks and pass the ball forward.

Even when we are breaking Lunny stops the passes backwards.

Read my first post in this thread. We controlled them but were a bit toothless infront of goal. Hit the bar twice. Couple of miss kicks etc. The confidence and clinical finishing comes with victories.

Yeah I agree that’s what happened with Norwood he wants too much time and too many touches. He receives the ball square too often and so needs to take a touch to turn rather than taking the ball on the half turn.
