If there is one thing we know about this season, it is that this is the most abnormal season in history. Wilder deserves a season with the crowds back in. In my opinion.

Relegation is relegation, end of. Makes no difference wether you go down by goal difference, or 50 points behind 4th bottom.

I've just Googled this, as somehow I want even aware of it!

I get that it wasn't the usual league system, but it was a full season in peacetime. In my book that should be treated as a league title (albeit with an asterisk).

First half Ben Mee made a terrible mistake and Origi went clean through on goal, missed a sitter. Later Firmino should have scored after another mistake at the back. Then they go and win it. We wouldn't have got away with those.

So that would be Eddie Howe who failed at Burnley, bought Ramsdale and had him as his regular keeper, got relegated and replaced as manager at Bournemouth. Good manager, but no guaranteed success.

What have you seen in Ramsdale that makes you think he'll come good? I don't even see him doing the basics well.

He is a good shot stopper first. I'm not going to disect every goal he's conceded, but I think he's generally done well here, the Burnley game save was one that springs to mind. He's imroved, in my view, from early performances I can't remember a goal in recent weeks that been his fault, and he gets exposed every match because of the level we're at. He's commanding his box better in my view now than earlier, coming for crosses more, or generally gets a decent punch out.

Yes, he is erratic at times but he's young and if you go back and watch United's 1990 season when Simon Tracey got player of the season and watch some of the goals he conceded there worse than what Rammers has done this season in many cases, and yet Tracey was a great keeper also, but had errors in there, even Hendo did at times. He's a working process, and just look at the criticism Jordan Pickford and Joe HArt have had and they're or were the number ones for England. It's a really tough possition playing in goal at the top level, any level.

So, on your analysis, Dyche will leave an established PL club, with a bigger wage Bill and transfer budget, and come to a Championship club, because United offer to pay him more money? Is that because he knows it would be a good career move, or because he likes counting the money in his bank account?
