This won't help the bid to sign Lingaard! On the one hand we're almost certainly down, but on the other we need to win to start to build up momumtme and confidence for next season.
 
Not so much as couldn't score, more like a couple of good confident keepers. Would love to have the same confidence in Ramsdale.
 
Burnley are fucking horrible to watch. Negative as, but they're organised and solid defensively.

Were bad to watch but theyre even worse.
 
burnley were always likely to get out of trouble theyve done it before think newcastle are gonna get sucked in to the relegation battle take almiron and saint max out of their team and their garbage

They'll sack Bruce and be ok, I reckon.
 
Some of our players should hang their heads in shame , pathetic really , they obviously don't want to be premiership players and have the kudos and prestige that goes with it , half of them can fuck off for me now . Its time for the 💩 to hit the fan .

Plus a centre back pairing that are also solid, reliable & know each others game. Oh plus a midfield that put in a shift & can be creative, Oh and 2 strikers who show for the ball, hold it up & are always dangerous. Oh and a full back who must be the best crosser in the league, yes ML!

And, did I mention an excellent manager who never seems to make a bad buy & gets the best out of his team?

But then again we've got.............................Woodward & Currie & promotion is ..........................................a distant memory!
 



The loss of Hendo probably equates to about 15 points across the season, so getting the right replacement was critical, obviously not worked, can’t help but think that Ramsdale was a Bladey, Blade signing.. he just isn’t good enough at set pieces, catching, or diving, he’s far too small. We need someone who can command confidence in the back line.

Not sure about the creative midfield part, but you're right about the rest. Watching Barnes and Wood's hold up play against us the other week made me utterly embarrassed that McBurnie was our version.

Dyche 1st season after promotion. Next you are going to tell me Wilder will do the same as Dyche? Take Wilder's budget away and maybe, give him more money and I doubt it.

And yet the manager still picks them.Surely CW/AK where the majority of the blame should lie ?

True but finding a nick pope is akin to finding a Jamie vardy. Pope went from charlton squad player to England keeper. Those kind of players are out there but finding them take a massive slice of luck aswell as judgement. Burnley also benefitted from being able to sit him behind Heaton for years and develop him.

When we get relegated, Dyche and Wilder will have 1 relegation each to their name. All about opinions, but I don’t see a manager we could get more likely to take us back up.

He’s jumped the shark a bit this year and seems incredibly rattled biting at wilder early in the year, scrapping with Dyche tonight and just generally being mardy in interviews something has unsettled him.

the loss of dean henderson and jack o connell more than anything else is going to cost us our premier league place imo add to that mousset going off the boil and some 'iffy' signings.
