We need to get cat one , so our kids could play the Pigs first team , in the paint pot cup final at Wembley , how sweet that would be .

You are probably right but if they are loaning it out to SUFC community Mon to Fri already why not the first team. They could even sell at extreme profit. Other than professional sports clubs I don’t think facilities like this are high on the agenda. They are closing Ponds Forge a fantastic facility all be it council owned. Money talks.
Pitches are decent but there isnt the infrasturcture there to support a Proffessional sports club. For instance the academy is operating under a marquee!

There is a new building at the bottom of the site next to the Astro turf pitches.

A few changing rooms and small offices.
Where would the medical and catering depts go. Also no indoor training.
It's a million miles away from what the club needs in its present state.

I know what your saying but we are spending money and building at Shirecliffe. I know where I’d prefer us to be based.

It’s been announced, although I think many have missed this , that the original building has been scrapped due to the club finding its self in different circumstances ( going fucking down )
New plans have now been forwarded and are expected to pass planning permission and work is to commence in the off season and will be completed by the start of next season , a brief outline of the new building has been released .

As Kev has said before "When the cowboys come calling..." 😂 😂 😂

It will be quick when it starts it's a prefabricated building, just needs slamming down wall around it and roof on.... very quick.

Could all be done in close season. Easily.
The point is the club said we’d start 2021 with a state of the art new facility and it ain’t even been started most likely or we’d have seen numerous videos

I don't know anything about it, but guessing perhaps it wouldn't allow social distancing, adequate ventilation etc, so what's the point in installing it at the mo? I say installing because I think it is/was planned to be a prefab thing.

Noticed in the recent social media stuff all the gym equipment has been moved to the indoor pitch. Anyone know if they've broken ground on the new building?

The 2021 year or season. Also covid-19, impact, hardly anything is running on time, including this season. I wouldn't read too much into it.
If you get relegated it won't be built anytime soon either. With Covid about nobody knows when fans will return. In the Championship they are the lifeblood of any club.

My club has had to put on hold increasing the capacity of the Amex by a further 1750 seats making our ground bigger than yours. Our aim is to reach 32500 so we can hold senior England internationals there.

On another note our training ground is one of the best in the country. I've been there and it's a thing of beauty. The whole infrastructure of my club is world class.

True. But only very vaguely on topic...!

Tragic you.
Ever spoken to a woman?

I can't wait to get to that new prefab training building with me mates and cheer the boys on while they practice Keepy uppies.

What else am I suppose to do during lockdown? I must have watched our wins over Liverpool and Spurs about a 1000 times now. Not to mention reading other clubs forums.
Did you know you spent over 60 million on transfers last summer while we spent less than a million on first team players. Just goes to show it's not all about money.

With an entire history that consists of a missed chance in an FA Cup final 40 years ago before being dry-sodomised in the replay.
