Bogle

Best signing we did in summer imo apart from that at the end he had a good game tonight i prefer him to baldock mainly because he likes to take players on
He actually makes runs into the box which is more than some of the other lads do and I’m including strikers in that.

Tonight was different however and they all deserve credit

We need more movement up front, more runs from the wide men and from the overlappers

Muuuuch better than Baldock! Bogle actually attacks and takes on men, something we haven't REALLY seen since... Mark Duffy?
I mean no disrespect to Baldock, But I still prefer K Freeman over Baldock and he doesn't even play for us anymore.
Just to make it clear, I do like Baldock, just not as much as the other two mentioned ;).

Put him on an intense left-footed training program so we can have both him and Baldock in the team.

He’s still only 20 as well! Could definitely play at Champions League level some day

Is Bogle used tactically in a different way? His preference seems to be to cut inside and go for goal himself. Wing-backs usually aim to get behind the defence wide and put a cross in.

Jayden Bogle is what George Baldock and Kieron Freeman would be if they were one player.....only better.

The shirt is his to lose now for me. He’s got way more composure going forward than Baldock has and he can defend as well.

He seems comfortable using both feet, runs at players and has pace, I would seriously consider him as a replacement for lundstrum if he goes

He’s a two footed former winger so I think it’s just instinctual for him to look for goal first before anything else.

Much more comfortable with both feet. Which allows him to cut inside and for a team that plays predominantly wide to get crosses in, it does add an extra dimension to our attacking play. Separate topic, The last two games has seen us attack down the left hand side a lot more would suggest players are starting to settle into the system.

It seems to have finally clicked with fleck, Osborn And ampadu in terms of moving constantly on the edge of the opponents box creating triangle after triangle until it springs one of them free.

George has probably been our player of the season so far. Good to have competition for places though
Not sure I totally agree, but nearer than the “much better than Baldock” comments made after a few hundred minutes of football.

He looks more than decent so far, to be fair.

Got to agree, some really good interchangeable play in the first half, Burke and McGoldrick involved too, lundstrum at the back post. it just goes to show that when we have some sort of threat or understanding on either side of the pitch it’s much harder to defend against our ”system”. We have been to all intent and purposes a right side dominated attacking force. Great to see option, even if it was against a side that somehow manages to nick wins that keep them away from the relegation zone. EVERY SEASON.

The movement tonight across the board was excellent one touch passing creating little triangles then springing a player into the open. We all needed that fans, players, staff to show that the players and system still work and on our day in our pomp we play some damn good stuff.

I don't think Bogle has the defensive qualities of Baldock, that positioning and tenacity can be a joy to watch in the latter.

I think Bogle is so effective because he ghosts into dangerous areas from RWB. I'd be reluctant to play him at RCM whilst he's doing so well there.

Got to try him at RCM and Baldock at RWB playing together on the right. If it doesnt work bring on lunny for either

No we don’t. Why try and shoe horn him into central midfield, a position he’s never played before, whilst simultaneously taking out a player who has arguably been our best central midfielder this season.

He needs to start. His confidence running at defences and wanting to shoot is what we need.
That positivity is infectious.
The positivity in the whole team tonight is one reason Brewster played well. He's a young lad and picks up on the mood around him.
Football is a confidence game.
