The lad's smashing it at the minute.
He's really improved on all aspects of his game. Been loving his determination in defence, something we'd not really seen from him before. His silky runs are becoming more frequent and we're seeing some end product off the back of it too.
He was probably my runner-up for man of the match in our last 2/3 games.

If he can keep showing that (Baldock-like) aggression in defence, keep being determined to get closer to his man, stop crosses coming in and keep his concentration (he sometimes loses his positional sense) then he could be some player.

I think the stuff he doesn't have is very coachable. The stuff he does have, is very difficult to teach.

No chance at the moment. I've been advocating for Bogle over Baldock for a long time.
When we play 3-5-2 our wing backs are so important to our attack play and it's an area Baldock has been below average in for a long time. He's never shown any signs of improvement in 3 years.
I rate him very highly as a defender and an athlete and he's someone I think could genuinely do a job at PL level at somewhere like Burnley (in a flat 4).

Shame one of bogel or George isn’t a left back really! Miles ahead of anything we have on the left hand side currently.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Bogle on the left. He often cuts inside onto his left foot and has been comfortable shooting with it. I guess if he flipped that around and cut inside onto his right foot, we'd see more goals from him.

Hes played a couple of times on the left if I remember correctly.

don’t think it was a massive success . But I Guess it’s trying to unlearn 10 years of muscle memory playing on the right…

I'd be flogging Baldock in the summer for a few million. He won't be short of suitors, and if Bogle carries on with the same growth we don't need 2 right backs of that calibre when we are poor in other areas of the pitch.
