Bryan or Ampadu at LCB

Just had this conversation with someone. Ampadu doesn't appear to be half the player he is when he plays for Wales. I think his last appearance for Wales was at Centre Half, usually plays in midfield.
Before he injury I thought Bryan was starting to show us something positive, especially going forwards.
It was obvious today that the left side wasn't effective with Osborne/Fleck/Ampadu as the right was with Basham/Bogle/Lundstram.
Fingers crossed that whoever the left hand 3 are can now become more positive.

Realistically how far off is JOC. He’s back on the grass running etc? 6 weeks maybe

A complete and utter lump who wipes out the entire box just to get his head on the ball. Screams his fucking balls off to organise the defensive unit when defending set pieces and a compete father figure to rammers so we have some trust between keeper and back 3/5.

If the answer is “Kean Bryan” you know we are royally fucked.
I've been impressed with the progress Kean Bryan has made since I saw him play last year, but, yeah, he's not exactly the messiah is he? Just less bad than Ampadu

It's like being asked whether you would rather have the clap or crabs.

That's like being asked if you'd rather have a rusty nail through your right bollock or your left

oscar pistorius he's a better left or right foot than both of them .

....and £40m cost

Robinson is the best of that bunch.
Well, we look more solid with him at least.

I agree we’re possibly a bit more solid but he’s so woeful on the ball that I’m not sure it’s worth the trade-off. It’s a toss-up between Bryan and Ampadu for me but I think Bryan just edges it. Of course this could all be irrelevant if we sign a LCB this month.

It’s astounding we are 10 days into the transfer window and we don’t have a LCB

I'm still astonished we came though the last transfer window without one.

Bryan. Convinced he will be one of our best players, if given the opportunity, over the next 3 / 4 years. His crossing now is better than anyone else in the team and getting a run in the team he will progress no end.
