Prince and the board need to rally round and find the funding to finance a relegation scrap that even now, in this moment, in the utter bowels of despair IS TOTALLY DOABLE.

I couldn’t give a fuck if he gets the finance via the bin ladens or the bin men, just do it.

• Top end championship players won’t come if they believe their going to end up in the premier league that may inevitably pay them more money..so that’s players from the top 8 in that division off the cards.

Relegation for us will seriously impact our standing. The reason we are an attractive proposition is because of the premier league, players are not coming here for the money (see fulham) or the glitz and glamour of world class training facilities. Wilder has done miracles selling the club to some players with his hands tied and blindfolded, the jewel in his pitch... the “big league“ Without it we’re just another championship side in the mix with your Middlesbrough, Swansea, Stoke an whoever else goes down or narrowly misses out on premier league football. Sorry but it’s true. The lads that have got us into this need to get us out of it....somehow, and despite all of this I’ll be cheering them on as long as i can not creating a hit list of players to get rid of many who have only just joined our club. Agree with most of the above list. But we want to hang onto Berge unless we get an offer that is at the vesy least what we paid for him. Berge seems a decent pro to me nd if he can't get a move I'm sure he'll kncukle down and give his all for us.

Also Burke could well be a very good Championship player, especially if we do revert to using an attacking mid, i.e. Duffy, or if Wilder does go - hope not obviously - then Burke could play on the wing if we change system, assuming Wilder won't change the system. Burke's also showed that he can be an asset to us now tbf, and at 24 is still young and time to develop.

Largely agree I’d rather ship Foderingham than Moore though Moore has proved to be decent back up in the champ whereas Foderingham has looked shaky to me. Maybe a couple of loan moves for any youngster who are deemed ready.

In the medium term we need to identify and recruit a player who can do what Basham does because in terms of squad depth it’s a glaring hole right now.

In terms of January, Lundstram can go while we can get some money for him. Realistically, I don't think many will be on the move in January due to our lack of numbers, neither would many exactly jump at the chance to join us while we're in this situation.

Players to be bombed out immediately at the end of the season - Bryan, Robinson, Moore, Foderingham, Jags, Lundstram (if he's still here), Rodwell, Ampadu will be going back anyway.

Based on current performances/contract lengths etc, there isn't a single player on our books who I wouldn't consider an offer for. Only ones I'd be disappointed to lose would be Bash and JOC. McGoldrick is a classy player but his legs aren't going to last too much longer.

It's not hate at all. He's got class he's got a lovely way of gliding past players, but he hardly grabs the game by scruff of neck and drives the midfield on. 1 to 1 heading duels he loses to midgets.
What we need is same size of Berge but with attitude of Patrick Vieria, a game changer, a nothing shall pass me,a proper box to box athlete that leads by example of course these types are expensive but at 23 million from Belgium our expectations were high.
He's a nice lad - and I hold nothing against him- but right now he definitely is not going to be a winning formula for us; if anything from minute 1 of his arrival we have gone backwards.

I think if baldock was to move he’d get prem interest and we’d get a fairly decent fee. He’s defensively very sound at this level and has coped with some of the leagues top wingers in our time at this level. For any team that plays a conservative flat back 4 he’d be a very shrewd addition.

I'm not entirely convinced, but maybe. Possibly a team going up. Team tend to look for ability going forward, but I assume Brexit will have an impact so might be more sought after.

Maybe a team going up but also a Burnley as a replacement/competition for Lowton or a Newcastle I could see Bruce liking him as an option or even a palace as depth/competition.

Baldock defensively is one of the best right backs in the Premier League, hesstrong, quick, aggressive and wins tackles. He just not as good as a wing back.

That's cos the rest of the midfield are statues. He needs a leader in the middle of the pitch, alongside him. Why we didn't get Besic who knows, he would have been this teams v.jones, just a bit less psycho

Seeing the club tweet about Chris Wilder then it is clear he is staying.

I think Wilder needs to use this transfer wisely and reorganise the squad. January is a much harder window to deal in but I think if he is able to move some players out such as Lunny and get another midfielder or two in then its a start.

There seems to be a lot of assumptions Berge would be off, but I'm not sure many other PL teams will have seen enough to match what we have paid, and he is currently out of the shop window for the foreseeable. I am kind of his biggest fan and biggest critic rolled into one. An abundance of talent but he is not up to PL speed yet. There is no doubt he would be a colossal Championship midfielder, and developmentally would benefit from a season at that level. We should only sell if we can make our money back, and even then it may be worth holding out, keeping him on the wage bill for a year and building the midfield around him.
