Wilder only took us from League One purgatory to the brink of Europe on a limited budget in 4 seasons. Any clown could have done that. Bring back Adkins or Weir or Adams, they could have done it, all the 24 managers in the Championship could have done it.

Let's jerk the old knee, sacky sacky sack. It's the Sheffield United way. Stunningly successful as well, we've won how many trophies and spent how many seasons in the top division. It always works cos we're Unitedites and can't remember owt beyond the last month.

He's had 16 games to turn his own mess around, we are yet to win a game. No one would be supporting him under these circumstances if he wasn't a blade. Time to put the emotions to one side and do what is best for the club - make that change and try and turn the corner

I'm not supporting Wilder because he's a blade, I'm supporting him because he is the best person to manage us. We can't compete with other clubs due to wage demands, and if we go down he is the best person to get us back up again. I haven't seen any better suggestions for a new manager.

Best person for the job? He's a record breaker alright. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one fella.
 
i know i say this most weeks but i have no idea what to expect now. as the lack of fight is terrifying. i wouldnt rule anything out in coming weeks. he could walk. sacked or still be here v Bristol rovers. i wouldnt be shocked at any outcome

It seems Wilder is so stubborn or is completely blinkered and will not change the system come what may. It seems he'd rather take us down on a record low than change it.

Wilders record in league one and championship is not as good as adkins was he had 4 promotions in 5 years 3 from league 1 and 1 from the championship, yet he had 1 bad season with us and everyone wanted him out, which proves historical achievements mean nothing in the present
 
You learn a lot about the ability of a manager when things go wrong and I have seen everything I need to see, he's not good enough, there is better out there
 
Wilder is getting away with this poor run while no Blades fans are allowed. He is not the messages shouted at him as he would had fans been allowed in ground or feeling that extra pressure to up the players performance from the fans. Until fans are allowed back I can't see much happening really

Adkins achievements had nothing to do with us as they were done a different clubs and years before he became our manager.

Adkins and Lambert both lost their jobs after taking teams up 2 divisions and unfortunately so should Wilder.
 
I dont want him to but after the video on twitter I wouldnt be surprised if he walks this weekend. :(
 
Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. rather than get rid of Wilder has got some of the qualities we need long term Knill has shown some qualities we need along side Wilder But why not bring in another coach to freshen things up and work with Wilder I know alot will slag me off but if they are pals why not ask Eddie Howe to work with us for the next six months or until he gets another job NOT AS A WILDER REPLACEMENT

There's no way Wilder would stand for that. He would quit rather than have E.H waiting in the wings to replace him.
 
I worry if Wilder stays for next season we may do a Sunderland and face double relegation.Needs a full clear out from top to bottom. Brewster,send him out on loan and hope someone bids for him

Weak way to leave resigning. Either get us out of this mess and plan for the future or accept sacking if it comes. Resigning shows mental weakness in my opinion and a lack of self belief.
