He did a few good things, but always followed by something poor. If he'd been our own youngster coming through I think we may have sent him on loan in January to give him more experience.

I thought he blew hot and cold today. Did the odd good thing then levelled it up with something awful. There might be a decent player in there, only time will tell.

Maybe his best game for us (he actually ran about a bit) but just about every thing he tried went horribly wrong. By 2025 might have a Premier League striker in there at this rapid rate of progression.

Change of formation to 442. (It’s just not working, partly due to personnel.)

A rest for Baldock and Stevens. They just aren’t pulling any trees up. (Time for Derby contingent.) However I’d play George against palace he does well against them.

A strong physical athletic midfielder. (Make do with Lunny for now.)

Another midfielder. (Who can help create chances.) Fleck isn’t cutting it.

A central defender for back up to John and Bash.

Chris Basham. much as I support united this superb servant of the club deserves so much more and if he got picked off by a more successful club I would only feel good for him. otherwise fuck off Shankley football is not more important than life and death and it’s not too hard to put it into that perspective today.
