It did look that way.
We dominated but Burnley soaked it up with ease....they are really good defensively and looked comfortable.

I don't think anyone wants less than being in the Premier League, but realistically to achieve that it needs far greater investment than the current chairman can provide. The amount of money that fans accuse CW of pissing away is chicken feed, we have been out of the top flight for so long we cannot compete financially.

Yes could night for Burnley, got in some good defensive practice and didn't need to extend themselves too much. Not sure they could get away with that type of performance though in front of paying home fans

We were incredibly poor with the ball today. Other than bash, Egan and Didzy who played well with Brewster having some nice flashes but being caught in possession a few times. The final ball from the wing backs was abysmal and tbh if we’re looking for an excuse to drop baldock and try bogle that’s it right there. Midfield was truly appalling couldn’t pass to a player when pressed and couldn’t compete, win the ball and impose their will on the game. I include all 4 players who played minutes at centre mid today in that. Mousset didn’t influence the game at all and if we can find another explosive player to rotate with Burke then shift him on.

Combine that with being wank at defending and it’s a recipe for not winning this season.

I thought we would turn it round at least fight to the end of the season, get to 20/30 point and make a fight of going down. I genuinely don’t think we will win this season now.
