We huffed and we puffed

Frustrating, but can't fault them for effort in that 2nd half..Burnley were sat deep, 2 banks of defenders it's always difficult.. Liverpool even struggled v WBA.. Just lacking a quality delivery or make more of being in good positions, but the players are still putting it in for the Manager.

we have yes but our downfall is not paying premier league salaries you get what you pay for we pay championship salaries championship is where you end up
Well then you pay less in fees and more in salary(free agents). Or you purchase genuine quality footballers not Robinson, Osborn etc who will runaround loads but not much else. Wilder has bought this ‘quality’ in. He thought they were good enough. Hes been great but the prem is a world away from his quick assent from non league.

Burnley did what Burnley do. They let us have the ball and we did nothing with it. Don't be fooled into thinking we wrestled control of the match. That is exactly what Burnley do every week.

On paper we’re bottom but we are not the worst side in this league

we are the worst side ever to play in the premier league atm.

this is the worst ever attempt to stay up, so far. We can do nothing better than any other side in the league.

can’t score, can’t defend. I honestly can’t see us winning this season. We are an embarrassment frankly

I don’t think we did either. People keep referring to the Bassett era and the 16 game run. They did huff and puff constantly and eventually the hard work paid off. This team isn’t putting enough in with a few exceptions. Not just quality lacking but effort. Embarrassing. We should be laying siege to the Burnley goal but in 91st minute we took thirty seconds to move backwards from the halfway line to Ramsdale.

Homophobic thread.

I'm out.

I could take relegation based on our wage structure but even clubs like Blackpool and Swindon have been better than us in PL this is beyond belief back end of last season an this season it’s unforgivable absolutely laughing stock 0 clean sheets and 2 draws 1 of which was a fortunate penalty teams with less budgets have been miles better than us I’m losing patience it’s not even just the results it’s the performances cheap in possession kick it anywhere strikers have touches like a trampoline so wasteful defence is shocking you could go on about it all night absolute rancid to have this record and it won’t get better anytime soon by the looks of it where does this end

We are just 5-10% off in most games. Not a massive amount wrong but short of our own potential week in week out
My problem is that I don’t think it’s 10-15 percent off due to effort where a manager change or a result going our way could change it. It’s 10-15 percent off in terms of quality and the ability to use the ball proactively and aggressively.

OK so I'm a bit pissed, but I'm literally crying over the career death of some players who I have loved for 3 years, Baldock, Stevens, Fleck, Basham and Didzy (who didn't look too bad, but age is against him - he's not coming back from this)

Don't think I can bear another 22 games like this

Burnley taught us how to defend tonight.the amount of games we have thrown away over the last couple of years in the last 10 minutes ,we need to watch what Burnley did tonight.

They are no better than us at all.i think we have the better players in possession of the ball.we just need to learn how to put teams under pressure. Fannying around with it 25/35 yards out from goal isn't going to hurt burnley.neither is lumping up to mee and tarkowski or straight down pope's throat. Why can't we put some low hard crosses/balls into the box and have players gambling on where it's going, putting the centre halves under pressure. For all the ball we had in the second half we never got in behind them.

Also again not impressed with fleck , ampadu , Robinson. 3 urgent replacements needed in jan.god knows what's happened to fleck but he's a stone overweight and hardly breaks sweat.dont like pin pointing individuals but his drop in form / enthusiasm is marked from last year.

I’m done with this bollocks. I’m going to grow some bollocks and say wilder has to go IF we want to be a prem team long term. If people are happy being wednesday level then thats fine but wilder has given us a platform to compete at the top level but unfortunately he has plateaued and regressed. Great guy, was a great manager but it isnt clicking at the moment. Worst team in prem history.

i would look for a replacement ASAP.
Sweet FA to do with Wilder. Until we get a billionaire/s like Villa have, we could have peak Brian Clough in charge and still do F All.
