A genuine question, not for just Blades fans, but football fans in general. There was a time that, if there was a football game on TV I'd watch it, no matter who was playing, I enjoyed watching football as both a neutral, and a fan. Now though I seem to ignore football is even being played, unless we're playing, and even then I don't enjoy it anymore (of course this could be because we haven't won since July). I've turned more SUFC matches off this season than I have in my 28 years watching the game, that speaks a lot for myself.
I used to watch Match of The Day, week in week out no fail just because I love football, but since having no fans, football has felt like a lost cause and I no longer watch MOTD. Does anyone else feel the same way? I feel detatched like never before from the game I grew up loving.
More to the point, could some players in the game be feeling similar things? I look at the table and think, theres been some shocking results, Liverpool 7-2 Aston Villa springs to mind. Southampton being 4th, Everton being 2nd... would this be happening if football was "normal"
My love for this game is gone in its current format. And you?
