Point away at anfield not to be sniffed at, they also had a couple of good chances to win it. If wba give him the funds in January I can see him keeping them up. He has a record of bringing in players to do the business.

Took guts to sack Bilic after promotion...but it’s a decision that could save/ earn the club millions.

For fans that want to stick with Wilder, we have been the worst team to watch in the premiership since promotion. We were just hard to beat without any creativity, now we’re easy to beat without creativity.

The style of football Wilders got us playing is by far the worst to watch in the league.

Don't agree with that we played some lovely stuff last season...

This season we've gone way too defensive and don't seem to have any sort of game plan. It's like watching paint dry

After 2 games he’s already got half the points we have. To think posters on here were laughing at the thought if he was out manager he would have got us more points than Wilder has so far.

Yep, but I think that the current manager is now in transition, everything that he has touched until now has turned to gold, even during his early years he had a very good record. This period will either make him or break him as the manger of SUFC, either he goes back to basics himself and and somehow gets the whole club back as one team at the start of next season in the Championship, or he could walk away even as early as this season, or be sacked next?

Only 22% possession and 4 shots , you lot would want him sacked for that

Last season is gone, we don’t get any points for last season.

Ranieri won the league for Leicester and was sacked the following season due to poor form.

Our fan base being sentimental because he’s a blade and what he’s done is the reason he’s invincible. I’d love him to turn it around but I just don’t see it, the football we now play is so so bad

If we leave a couple of players upfield when we're defending corners/ free kicks etc the other team have to have defenders back to cover them.

Might as well try it rather than hoofing it clear to nobody and watching it come straight back at us.

I don't think we need Big Sam or anyone else to think that one through.

Time to stop being frightened of the opposition.

I've got a feeling he will walk to be honest

Sounds like the statistics for one of our games if you take the 4 shots away 😂

😂😂😂😂 what a complete load of shite! You can’t have watched any game we played last season if you genuinely think this. I get you want wilder out and that’s your prerogative but for god sake stop making shit up to try and back up your argument.
We were lauded last season by every pundit up and down the land yet you think we played awful football? Have a day off for fucks sake. Some posters need to get a grip with some of the tripe they are posting at the minute it’s embarrassing.

I agree last season some of our football wasn’t the worst the premiership has seen so I retract that. However we didn’t score/ create much last season and this season is even worse. Every ‘expert’ said the same, well organised and hard to beat with a different style going forward....then we got found out, then O’Connell got injured and we had no plan B.

Did you hear Wilders interview last night so you actually think he is telling them to play differently to what we did last season? The issue is we have too many players who are off form for one reason or another. The way we play we cannot afford this to happen. He has not changed his philosophy at all unfortunately the players have lost some belief and it’s having a massive impact on us.

He has not suddenly become a bad manager overnight he is a cracking manager and at the minute with the players we have we hit the ceiling and now have to take a step back. It’s not the end of the world at all it’s shit but this is football and it’s certainly being a supporter of our club.

Yes I completely agree, of course Wilder wants us to recapture our form and our style that’s obviously why he’s persisting with the formation as he’s as desperate as anyone and believes this is the right way to go.

You’re also right that he’s a really good manager. Eddie Howe, Mourinho, Ranieri, Conte, Billic all brought their respective teams success but were sacked. Obviously were yet to see what Big Sam does for WBrom but sometimes change needs to happen.

If Wilder was available he’d be my choice like the Prince said, but how can any manager not be questioned after spending £100m on players and not winning a game in 19 playing football that’s so bad to watch (this season).

I genuinely believe Wilder needs a fresh challenge as much as we need to get our acts into gear before we go in the history books.

Who said he can’t be questioned? of course he should be questioned I don’t know any blades who want rid of him but also don’t know one blade that hasn’t questioned some of his decisions selections etc.
I’m not saying we have played well this season but neither have we been woeful in every game, we are just playing within themselves unfortunately. We have taken huge steps in the last few years steps we had no right to have been taken. We now have to take a step back. Chris Wilder is the man to try and put it right next season, if we don’t do it then I agree he would have to go. But he’s been the one to get us taking those huge steps he deserves the opportunity to get us back.

I hope he does mate, I really hope he does. I don’t care if we don’t stay up, but I just want us to go down with a fight and play football that we saw so much of in L1&Champ again fighting for everything.

Unfortunately I think they’ll beat us. Five of their next seven games are against relegation rivals and I’ll expect them to pick up points. He’s always disregarded games like this and personally I think he’ll keep them up. I wouldn’t want him as our manager.

This is nearer to Sam
