Is Mcburnie and Burge out, a blessing in disguise!??

Yes... Berge doesn’t fit but is a good player, just not what we need right now, and we play long when McB is in the side...so it’s going to be interesting to see how the team performs with both of Them out.

So we played well early doors were 1-0 up berge gets injured it goes to shit and then we concede 3 goals and get a lucky goal from a corner we shouldn't have had and your verdict is we are better without berge lol.

I agree with mcburnie because him being on the pitch seems to make our team just hoof long 24/7 (not actually his fault really though) but your argument for us looking better in that game without berge has no weight. We looked considerably worse after basham moved into midfield as every defender we have other than egan and basham is shit tbh.

Hopefully lundstram does the business or we are up shit creek as who else is going to play there and get forward without sacrificing our backline

Having the best part of 40m signings unavailable isn’t ideal!

not sure we play our best with mcburnie starting but I could see him being useful if we are ever leading into the last 20 minutes.

berge has been one of our best players this season - for what that’s worth

We didn’t look better because we had others in there, we looked better because Man Ure play a style that allowed us too

I’m perplexed how people can think we will be better without berge. Losing any player through injury narrows our already below par squad. Same goes with mcburnie. Although I would start other ahead of him now just because something isn’t working. He still has done a good job that means he hasn’t been able to cover himself in the glory the fans expect from a forward.

Berge on the pitch, fast start, looked well up for it and 1-0

Berge off, Bash into midfield (he wasn’t bad at all) Jags into defence. We had a chance to make it 2, missed it, barely attacked again and then it was 3-1 within 50 minutes.

You do the maths.

Stop talking sense. You will force people to reflect on their irrational poorly thought out thread topics. 😂

A few thoughts on this. Firstly we will miss Berge, who has been our best player this seaon in my view. Berge is most suited to the deep centre mid spot where Norwood has played. However that means wantaway Lundstram is likely to play and it's clear Wilder, understandably, wants inly to play peiople who want to be here and although Lundstram's done ok, he's not been great either. We ay how well Bash did at the right centre mid role, he's ideally suited to it as we know. So the best way to accomodate this is to play Ampadu in his best position on the right side of defence, play Bash on the right side of the midfield and reinstate Norwood in the middle against his old club Brighton - ideal. That's my thoughts anyway.

But Brewster has been available and still doesn't start?

In America they say you do the math😂

Berge is our best player. He's supposed to be a CDM, but shoved out wide, due to the size of the squad.
McBurnie can't keep up with Burke, low and behold Didzy was there to pickup the easy chance against Man U.
4-4-1-1. Burke wide right in his natural winger position. Didzy in the hole, and Brewster patrolling their backline.

In reply to the thread, absolutely! Berge - good player but not for us. Doesn’t fit and is actually looking shit but would be good in another side.

Sell em both if someone’s daft enough to buy em

Shut up idiot

We were getting the better of them until Berge went off.
As far as McB goes, Swansea played the ball to his feet not constantly looking for his head.

Berge looked up for it and dangerous during the short time he was on. If he had stayed on we would of have been more likely to get something out of the game. FACT

THATS IT
Why can so few of us see the bindingly obvious?
First game no sign of McBurnie, first time two goals.
No one saw that either!

Ampadu can't take Bashams spot in defense. he isn't strong and can't jump he is a midfielder or defensive mid for me

In your view?
What makes you think we were better exactly? We created one chance before it become 3-1 without Berge on the pitch. That’s all.
Am I missing something?

When Bash went up to mid we were far nore energetic and threatening. We pulled a goal back and very nearly equalised from Moose.
