Been around a while Yogi ..I'm here because I actually like Sheff Utd ..always have done, so you can be assured I take no pleasure in your abysmal start to the season ..not even for the possibility of taking away a very unwanted lowest points tally record from a certain club just down the road
Won't make this a DCFC infested thread ..we've got some promising youngsters coming though ..but that's the standard line trotted out by every club

I think some Blades need a reality check , yesterday awe were playing a team that has won six consecutive away games who's team is full of world class players . Yesterday the Blades fought and pushed them to the end we were only undone by some class finishing and and average goalkeeping . Slag the team off when we rollover as we did against Southampton but lets give credit when it's due .

Based on his responses on the twitter feed, I hope he follows through on what he said.

First time we've come to the end of a game and looked like scoring when normally we could run about all night and not get near the goal even when the opposition have got on the bus and gone home. We might as well go full Kevin Keegan all out attack and at least make losing entertaining if we do go down.

First 20 we played well... much better...but let’s not kid ourselves if this is what we’ve come to expect.

We scored a goal from their mistake - then we stopped pressing so high up.

Wilder then put Jags on against perhaps the most rapid front line in the prem.

They scored and we’ve pretty much reverted to type from there.

second half - shocking

third goal we stopped playing after jags fouled - always play to the whistle for fs sake.

I’m much much happier than last week.

I like to think of myself as level headed and try to look at the bigger picture...not individual results,

Early season we‘ve been consistently decent but just can‘t score goals. My opinion was once we start scoring we’ll move up the table.
However recent games have been a real concern because we‘ve had little possession and looked poor with ZERO attack.
All our hopes to score seem to be resting on McBurnie....he works hard but he lacks quality and I can’t see us scoring.

The Southampton match was a killer for me. Southampton looked so superior to us...it was like watching a league 2 team playing a PL in the cup.
Don‘t think Southampton got out of 2nd gear...it was so easy for them and we had relegation written all over us.

However against Man Utd we showed signs of our old form in the first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes.
I was quite shocked.....with Brewster and Mouset up front we had a “proper attack“ and we looked a threat.

There‘s still plenty of matches left but I know genuinely believe we have a chance of staying up.
If Brewster and Mouset click and start scoring we can go on a good run of results.
Last week I’d accepted we were relegated.....now I do have hope.

Our first goal came about by harassing Man U’s defence,I don’t think you can attribute our first goal purely to Henderson’s mistake I think Burke deserves credit for his speed in closing down Henderson no one else would have got close to Henderson and he would have cleared with time to spare.
