I don't know but I think they and us would have a better chance with him in charge.

He is after all and expert in keeping teams away from relegation.
So is Neil.
He's done it with us 20 years ago.
Thank god he's not being mooted now.

True, though people would need categoric proof that not hiring him is dodging a bullet. They can't so it's a flawed argument.
Agreed, but neither side can be right so it’s a waste of time saying either way really.

I think he’s a c*nt, that’s why I don’t want him near my club. I hope he goes to WBA.

Ah yes, we should only have nice players and nice managers at our club.

Presume you would be against us signing Suarez and having Jose as our boss.

Hello Stegosaurus here,

How many seasons has Wilder had in the prem?

Slight difference between staying up for one year, like Wilder, and staying up for however many Big Sam has.

There really is no need to announce who you are at the start of each comment.

1. It states your handle above your post.
2. Your handle is anonymous.

Suarez no, Mourinho yes. I’m not aware of Jose taking bribes during his career.

I'm not aware of Allardyce taking bribes either.

Would you have been against Brian Clough becoming our manager when he was still working?

Er Neil is a classic example of a manager brilliant in the football league but not so good, especially with transfers, in the PL.

Kinda like Wilder.

Er, kinda not. Don't think Neil ever had us (or any other team for that matter) in genuine contention for Europe.

No. Brian Clough was a brilliant manager. Are you comparing Clough to Allardyce?!

Rick Parry, the bloke who failed to get a 12 point deduction to stick at Hillsborough accused a dead man of something. Cheers for the information.

Ah yes, because he failed to get a 12 point deduction to stick at Hillsborough means that Brian Clough wasn't implicated in the bungs scandal, which was worse than Allardyce's Telegraph sting.

The Brian Clough who took Forest down, and struggled with Leeds and nearly got Brighton relegated from division 3?
Using your criteria you’d have never appointed him at Forest and even if we ignore that you would have replaced him at Forest after he took them down the league to 16th in his first season.

The point is you said you wouldn't want Allardyce because of the Telegraph sting, and I'm saying that would you have turned Clough down to manage us because of the Bung scandal.

No I’d didn’t, although you wouldn’t have hired Clough because he had failed at Leeds and Brighton. I wouldn’t want SA because he’s an antiquated old Dinosaur and I want us moving forward under Wilder.
If he’s made a mistake this year he should be given the chance to fix it, learn from it and come back stronger.
Just as Clough was.

If Clough was a cheat then I wouldn’t want him at the club either, I don’t think he’s coming though if I’m honest.

The Allardyce one was actually bungs though, not bribes. Slightly different.

Were you saying that last season? It’s obvious from your multiple posts you are anti Wilder & want Allardyce as manager but you just try and veil it. I hope WBA appoint him soon to put an end to all this talk about joining us from you & all the S6 infiltrators on here.

Hi, Stegosaurus here,

Big Sam has a track record of turning teams around and keeping shit teams up. I'm surprised so many poo poo him. Sure, his teams play awful football, but it works. The fact I don't think he's ever been relegated speaks volumes.
Mmmm, who does that sound like?.

I'm not saying we should get Big Sam in, I would want to see who else is out there first. But I do find some of the reactions to Big Sam a touch over the top, he's got a decent record, it's not like we're talking about bringing David Weir or Adrian Heath back.

Relegated with Notts County in 96/97, but don't let the facts get in the way of your tedious trolling.

He's wba manager now. Never ever ever had a relegation from the premier League. Football is shite.. but fuck it, if it gets results and ensures that 100m at the end of the season I can see why struggling teams take him.

You should have stopped typing after think.

It would be like appointing Pullis , dinosaurs that have had their day
Some pundits and section of the media said that about our Chris when we came up. I bet them cunts are giving it large now.

Last season I said he should win manager of the year and would be in line to be appointed next England boss.

Massively pro-Wilder and what he's done for this club:

Love him or loath him, you can’t argue with his record of keeping teams in the division.

WBA have made a move to attempt to stay in the division, rightly or wrongly, they have made a calculated decision based upon potential loss of revenue, a manager that has a decent track record of keeping teams up who can be replaced later, if established. They are currently in a far better position than us not just in terms of league position, having only been relegated 2 seasons before and were in the top flight for a while before then. In my opinion it is a good move by the club.
