Big Sam has a track record of turning teams around and keeping shit teams up. I'm surprised so many poo poo him. Sure, his teams play awful football, but it works. The fact I don't think he's ever been relegated speaks volumes.

They're only 2 points from safety and can score, wouldn't exactly be a miracle if Allardyce did keep WBA up. Nice little earner for him and keep his reputation for PL survival heroics intact till the next one.

Whereas coming here (not that I'd want him) would probably be a bit of a gamble for him, further adrift, not scoring and a team used to a fairly unique system. WBA is the low hanging fruit.

when people talk about Sam, Hughes, Pulis, Pardew etc i just cant help but feel they are past it, old school that dont get todays environment

there are only 2 teams in the football league that are in single figures in the points column, were 1, and the others are about to go bust
