He’s been one of our better players this season he’s done everything bar score
I'd rather him lose some aerial challenges and put away the sitters he's missed this season.
Aint that precisely what he's there for.??He’s been one of our better players this season he’s done everything bar score
Were you away for Fulham and West Brom? Most people will rightly get behind him while he's pulling the shirt on but it's ok to point out his shortcomings.Hes missed one sitter all season IMO the header against leeds

Yeah but if we were not scoring from midfield and wing back then you would be moaning at them players and saying if it wasn't for the strikers blah blah. It's a team game and we got goals from most positions except the CB's to say the team carried the strikers is laughable. McBurnies off field antics haven't helped him but he has been one of the scapegoats United fans love to have. The abuse he gets is way over the top and unwarranted and that is not supporting United, far from it.By the way, are people still of the view that it doesn’t matter if the forwards don’t score and we shouldn’t regard it as their job to score, or have people now come to their senses and realised the rest of the team carried the forwards last season?
Well in that scenario the strikers would be doing their jobs.Yeah but if we were not scoring from midfield and wing back then you would be moaning at them players and saying if it wasn't for the strikers blah blah. He’s working hard, and nowt is coming off for him. Just seen on Twitter that awful shef u YouTuber getting into it with people about him.Disappointed with the abuse he's getting, I know people are upset and in some cases angry but while he's wearing the striped shirt I think we should support him only my opinion mind.

The ones slagging him off aren't exactly people with opinions that can be taken in any way seriously. Best to just hear it, smell it, be mildly discomfited by it for a few seconds & then let it harmlessly dissipate into nothingness like a pungent fart. He’s been one of our better players this season he’s done everything bar score
I want to agree with Didzy as hes a professional footballer who plays in the same team as McBurnie, so you’d think he’d be well placed to offer his view...
But loads of people on here say he’s shit so I guess they must be right.
He's missed three at least, two against Fulham as wellHes missed one sitter all season IMO the header against leeds
I had a conversation on WhatsApp about the latest craze.."clear cut chances". Using a bar of 0.3 xG as a "clear cut chance" McBurnie has missed four and the frustrating thing is that none of these has resulted in a brilliant save (ie the PSxG was lower than the xG)Hes missed one sitter all season IMO the header against leeds
Im no XG nerd but I’m not sure there accurate XG the leftfooted shot was near the edge of the area and the keeeper had everything covered no way was that an XG of 0.5 not a chanceI had a conversation on WhatsApp about the latest craze.."clear cut chances". *The Fulham header and the Liverpool shot were probably offside and would therefore have been disallowed by VAR.
- Header vs Fulham* 0.40 xG
- Left footed shot against Liverpool* 0.32 xG
- Right footed shot against West Ham 0.38 xG (nb not the shot off the bar, that was 0.28 xG)
- Left footed shot against West Brom 0.47 xG
