Enda Stevens

For me CW's obsession with round pegs for round holes is one of his weaknesses...plenty of right-footed players are capable of playing LCB in a back 3, some have made a career out of playing on the opposite side of the pitch to their "natural" position...

Enda cannot play LCB, we have leaked most goals down that side and because of his inability to win a header, if he starts the next game there it is suicide, he looks completely shot mentally and physically. Max Lowe looked like a rabbit in the headlights against Chelsea and gave away their fourth.....he's no way near ready for the EPL.

I'm hoping a born-again Fleck will be back for the next game, fit and raring to go....he takes his shirt back at left midfield, Osborn goes to LWB and Ampadu takes the LCB role. Norwood at CDM and Sander RM.....Lundstram warms the bench at most.

Enda is out of the upcoming RoI games, assume something to do with the knock he got at Stamford Bridge.

Hopefully nothing serious and we have him at Shirecliffe for 2 weeks of training.

Would be nice if Ramsdale and Brewster withdrew too if they're off with the yoof, it's not as important as staying up.
Plus Steven's been dogshit lately.

Feel a bit sorry for Stevens to be honest. Granted he was out of form at LWB, but I very much doubt he wants to play LCB and now he will likely need time to get back to form when he does switch back to LWB. He's doing a job for us, but he must feel frustrated getting played out of position and then being blamed when he doesn't play well...

I think we'll see Ampadu play there with Stevens (if he's lucky), or Osborn at LWB. But what about Byran? He's made for the vacant position?

Be harsh on Brewster that, he's probably really looking forward to playing some football matches where he actually gets to touch the ball!

I like this thinking. For me we have to bring back the No.10 role and offer more going forward. I like the idea of Berge in this role. I also agree that Osborn is the best LWB option at the minute.
For me I think we have to play our best players at the club in their best positions. Something I don’t feel like we’ve been doing lately. There will be a few eyebrows raised at the mention of Jags in the LCB role I’m sure. But I would genuinely be happy and excited to see your line up announced pre match against West Ham. It looks stronger right from the get go!

At least with Jags in there we might actually have a chance of heading the ball away from that left hand side

Could it be that no fleck and no joc make us realise how good enda actually is. Personally feel Osborne has played the best at left back. Woukd surely be best with ampadu in at cb for now. Main problem for me is we haven't had a settled side at all this season. We desperately need another in midfield and another center back.

On the contrary, you could argue the absence of Fleck and JOC has only highlighted Enda's deficiencies and his reliance on players around him.

Enda not in squad to play England tonight. Was he picked for squad or has he pulled out ?

I've heard he fell off a ladder when he was taking most of the light fittings with him when he moved house. Just left the wires hanging.......

Knew he was a wrong un :)

About 24 poor games on the trot how long does Stevens keep his place. He's been truly awful since July.
