The missing lad may be Stewart Unwin, a full back.
Thinking about it in the last few minutes, I think you are right that it was Stewart Unwin. I thought the name would come back to me immediately when you revealed his name but it didntThat wasn't the name that I can recall George Robinson telling me
I cannot recall the keeper Walton. Name just doesn't ring a bell. Was there another keeper that went onto represent us at first team level? I realise Hodgy and Bob Widdowson were first and second choices.
I remember going to those NI league matches and also Central league games. What year did we win the Central League? Was it the same season as this? I suppose if we'd won the County Cup that would have represented 'Our Treble.'
In those days I always saw Sunderland as our main opponents in the Northern Intermediate league.
Brian Arblaster was third choice keeper at the time. He went to Chesterfield and then Barnsley. He died a few years ago.I cannot recall the keeper Walton. Name just doesn't ring a bell. A number of the Leeds players went on to have good careers:
David Harvey
Jimmy Greenhoff
Paul Madeley
Eddie Gray
Rod Belfitt
Terry Hibbitt
As did about half a dozen of ours and that was what struck me looking at those two teams and how much the game has changed in that respect.
It's unthinkable that any club in this country could produce a decent crop of local juniors. Even our YC final team didn't produce half a dozen who will have a decent career. If a club did produce a decent number, they'd never keep hold of them for years as we and Leeds did in those days.
Jumpers for goalposts....
Of ours Birchenall, Jones, Badger and Shaw all had lengthy top level careers at United and elsewhere, whilst Wagstaff, Barlow and Heaton player a fair number of games for United and had ok careers (but mainly outside D1).
Woodward and Munks too

This is when our Youth team won the Northern Intermediate League and the NIL Cup double in 1964. We had just beaten L**ds in the NIL Cup final. Ten in the photo made it to the first team
