I see lots of votes for Ramsdale. These are illegal votes. We think that if only the legal votes are counted, as they should be, Foderingham wins. I don't know why they aren't saying Foderingham wins, that's what they should be saying, obviously. Nobody has really been talking about Ramsdale in this poll; not been talking about him at all, really. And then all of a sudden, as if by magic, Ramsdale is ahead. It's a fraud on the Sheffield people, isn't it? It's definitely a fraud on the Sheffield people. I don't see how they can get away with it, the Ramsdale fans. Not when it's so obvious how they've cheated and stolen the poll. Foderingham has been silent and gracious, waiting for his name to be called and waiting for the just decision, but dark forces are at work here, folks. Make no mistake about it. This poll will try to claim that Ramsdale is the man, but you and I know the truth, the real truth, that Foderingham is the one and only man who takes this team forward. And I don't know what to say when it says that 60%, 65%, whatever percent says that Ramsdale is the leader here. Have you ever seen a goalkeeper poll in your life that showed such clear results? And it happens now out of nowhere? It's ridiculous and sickening, really, how they're trying to steal this poll. It's so obvious. It won't work. It won't work folks, I know that. We know that.
 



Ramsdale, but only because it would knock the lads confidence to drop him now, and it wouldnt help to bring in another keeper just now who has hardly played for us before.

He had a poor game v Chelsea, but he should start the next few games.
 
He's 22, represents England youth and has the best part of 50 top flight games to his name.

Every game he plays is an investment. I'm fed up of us wasting cash on transfers and multiple agent fees. He could be he next Hodgy for us. He has lots of time on his side to grow. Hendo cost us the first goal last year at Chelsea. The defence there were far more resilient. If the outfield players had performed last season like they did yesterday then we'd have conceded 4 then too.
 
This is another man management challenge for Wilder. Ramsdale’s confidence and that of his defence, in him, must be very low and that needs sorting out.

It’s not like Henderson’s obvious errors last season versus Chelsea and Liverpool, his are less blatant but beginning to accumulate. Therefore, he needs proper technical support to improve that 5-10% which is so critical at the top level.

Let’s face it no one is performing as well as they can but as a keeper you’re so exposed with every goal analysed to death. It can become a self fulfilling prophecy and so difficult to break the cycle. What’s more opposition teams see this and exploit any possible weaknesses mercilessly.

There needs serious work on the training ground but also proper management from wilder to get his head straight.
 
Ramsdale is much better than Foderingham. The latter has looked woeful in the pre-seaon games.

I have no idea how good or bad Verrips is. Given he was behind Moore last season, it doesn't look good.

There’s plenty to look at elsewhere in the team before the keeper.

I agree he didn’t have the best day and should have done better in a couple but also made some big saves to avoid a cricket score (which some conveniently forget)

Two things he MUST work on though:

1) command of his box
2) Taking the concrete out of his boots
 
Ramsdale is clearly the best keeper at the club Moore is clearly not good enough so I think that rules out Verrips who couldn't oust him from the #2 spot before wilder brought in Fodderingham. At the moment our options are very limited. I'm not sure it is the defence who lack confidence in the keeper more likely it is the other way round. Last season we were praising Henderson for pulling off top saves in games where he had nothing to do most of the time, this season Ramsdale has been one of our busiest players, I think that tells the story. I'm not saying he can't improve he can, he will make mistakes just like Henderson did but he is under much more pressure than Henderson ever was the defence has gone to shit this season especially down the left. I would only question Ramsdale on the 2nd goal yesterday but even then the main culprit was Lowe losing his man letting him get goal side.
 
You don't pay £20m for a GK then drop after a couple of games where 'he could have done better'

If we start dropping Ramsdale then we're chasing shadows. Much better to spend the international break trying to find a front pairing who play like it's not the first time they've met, and get a midfield drilled so they know where they're supposed to be and what they're supposed to be doing!

Changing GK is a fifa/championship manager move.
 
I think people are forgetting the good games and crucial saves that Ramsdale has made recently.

Was he poor yesterday? Of course he was and he was at fault for a least one of the goals we conceded. But, the main reason for our defeat was a shocking performance across the board, in particular, with the defence. Stevens has been terrible since lockdown 1.0, for example.

You'd like to think organising the defence and working on defensive positioning would be the order of the day for the next two weeks. We've got 2 weeks before the next game so no excuse not to be well drilled!

That and getting McGoldrick and Brewster to be joined at the hip! The optimist in me likes to think that's why McGoldrick retired from international football....
 
He looks like David Bradley in Kes with that stupid cut off jumper and only needs to start swinging on the crossbar. Might be better keeping kestrel than goal at the moment.🤸‍♀️
 
He seems to freeze and has no command of his box. Physically he isn't as imposing as other Prem keepers. Worryingly the defence is beginning to lose confidence in him. Also butter fingers should have gathered the ball instead of conceding the corner on Chelsea's first goal. He is a work in progress. He may come good but we cannot afford liabilities in a relegation scrap. Look at Mendy his opposite number yesterday didn't cost much more but looks a top keeper.
 
Clearly Ramsdale.

May as well play goalie wag than play Foderingham.
 
Would be interesting to see the stats on how many saves Ramsdale has made compared with how many Henderson did in the first 8 games. I liked Deano but he rarely had a shot to save; that definitely isn’t the case with Ramsdale.
 



Poor keeper in a poor side .... the table doesn't lie.

The international break is because our international players, including Aaron, go on a break to work with, and play for their International teams. The one thing that will not be happening is that Aaron will be at Shirecliffe working on drills. Neither will Brewster.

Had a bad game against Chelsea

Nothing more nothing less. Put Verrips or Foderingham (wow he is shite) in and things will be no better, only worse. The defence infront of him is currently allover the place.
 
If we had a decent back up I think Ramsdale would be in danger of being dropped/rested - but we don’t.

As an aside, who the hell scouted and recommended Ramsdale and Foderingham? Maybe Ramsdale would have been worth a punt if he was valued at a couple of million. As for Foderingham, why?!
 
I thought it was a great signing but after our last goalkeeper I think we were spoilt.
Give him time and he will shine.
