In 6 games from open play. We've played Fulham, Villa and Leeds in those games.

This is what is most likely to take us down.

We had over 10 shots tonight and I think 1 troubled their keeper.

We're not as solid at the back as last season. We will struggle for clean sheets. Winning games 1:0 is unlikely to happen.

It's an anomalous stat taken from a small sample of matches.

We'll score a lot more than one goal from open play in our next six games.

We seem to be following a similar pattern in these games too. Good first half, miss good chances to be a few goals clear, then concede a sloppy goal, or two. We seem to really be tiring around the hour mark too, which is something I don’t recall happening last season (pre-lockdown).

I think those 3 areas should be our key focus for training. Get one right, and we are likely to get going. Get firing on all 3 and we’ll be back and really competing.

I do think it can and will come.

I am surprised you know the word hopefully. No offence but you are one of the most negative posters on here with a glass half empty outlook on all things United, I hope (!) you don't have similar views about everything because if you do you must drive your mates & family nuts.

Look, we are not in a good position it's true, but the signs are we are improving & after such a small sample of games so far it is miles too early to think about wrist slitting. Come on man have some belief, we will get better & climb out of trouble before long.
