Better than nowt yes , but only if the club gets it , Matches at home v top six would make us a fortune

Will I pay it?
No.

Can I see why it’s here? Yes.

Cost of football is high, it’s always paid for by fans be it through tv, attendance at games or purchase of associated products from sponsors. And at the moment football is not only about paying players and playing staff. Clubs are major business with employees working in the background and clubs often as a result supporting their town or city in a huge way.

That’s the same for United...,smaller in scale than the big boys but it’s the same and all relative.
Watching the spurs documentary on Amazon is fascinating, and finding out they employ 600 staff...that’s on top of playing staff.
Fag packet maths..:using rough estimates b....600 staff in London....average wage 25k a year...that’s 300k a week in wages. Add playing staff...academy upwards....say an average £40k a week...by 50 players....before you know it that’s £2m a week in salaries alone!
Add operating costs....there’s no wonder clubs are worried. And with the money clubs can make in match day missing it’s easy to see where they may be trying to bring some money back in.

But any match against the top six is likely to already be on TV, it’ll be games against Burnley, Crystal Palace and the like that are on PPV.

I don’t know what it is and I’d be interested to know if anybody feels the same. But I simply don’t enjoy watching us on the box at any time. But this season I’ve become so indifferent to the games that I don’t subscribe to any of channels showing Prem football anymore. I now tend to listen to the games on the radio whilst doing something else. I still get the nervous butterflies in the stomach when the game is on and I desperately want us win games and stay up. But if I can’t get to the Lane or follow my beloved team to away games. I’m really not interested in pay per flipping view.

No!
As I mentioned on Shoutbox yesterday, I've recently gone 'legit' paying for both Sky Sports (Now TV) and BT Sport (via Plusnet) but will be cancelling both now and going back to my previous methods of viewing the Blades until a better PPV method (similar to iFollow?) is available!

Its not right but Footballs never been fair , Look at the pigs with their free stands etc , If you can not afford it dont buy it , just like your next pint of Beer . [reply to Bath Blade ]

No...

They can do one.

I'm counting the days till I can attend a game again, but I am not paying loads of money to watch it on telly.

I mean you dont want it, dont buy it I dont see the issue honestly with the concept? 14.99 is a bit rich for a PPV that happens every week, but it does go to the club which is great.

I will not pay for ppv as I have just recently signed up for 12 months of Sky Sports via NowTv (£25 pm)
However as we are not on any scheduled SS for the next two months it means it will cost me £14.95 x 8 plus £25 x 2.
£170ish for 8ish matches in Oct & Nov.
Maths may not be bang on but seems a bit steep to me.
Anyhow I've cancelled the SS year pass now as I only want to watch Blades and it's of no use.

For what it's worth, you can cancel the £25 offer at any time.
