He's the ideal replacement for JOCs position but the fact he has had a serious injury and has been out a while and now has metal plates in his feet is somewhat concerning

Harry had leadboots and he did ok. ;)

Please avail us with more knowledge, oh great Dublinblade!

Mate if I had more Id post. I'm accidentally ITK here more than because I've got a huge network in professional football :) From what I've been told though Hemmingway is a bit behind the curve on where this one is at and I should add that Kongolo aswell as Huddersfield are keen on this.

Oh and were looking at loan with option not £9m perm as reported, Huddersfield woudl prefer a perm but jsut want him off the wage bill so will take loan and loan fee.

Loan wil suit us but he has to be very close to being able to play to make it worth while or we are paying wages and a loan fee for nothing

The foot injury needn't be a stumbling block. It's the opposite foot to JOC. So the plan is to bring him in and transfer his good foot to JOC so JOC will have 2 good feet and can carry on, whilst Kongolo recuperates from 2 damaged feet but will be available later in the season.

I told you before, it is illegal to remove footballers limbs and attach them to other footballers. This is why John Brayford took that restraining order out on you.

Loan with option to buy would be very good and low risk. Even if we don’t buy him at the end at least he will have played the season for a Prem side, so there’s a chance for HTFC that his value will rise

If he signs he'd be the first Terence/ Terrence to play for us since 2001

Maybe.

In the Athletic stuff they reference, Sutcliffe says today the board held talks with Huddersfield over him. A piece by the Fulham correspondent also says that their move for Kongolo has “unravelled at the 11th hour”.

No self respecting defender is going to join Fulham unless it's a last payday. They can't defend.

I was told his preference is us over Fulham if it can happen, maybe thats why it "unravelled for them" be nice to do a reversal on the Antonee Robinson saga. TBH I was told this is as good as done. Im going to look a right arse if it falls apart but there you go !

How long is he out for?

would seem to be an ideal for interms of attacking output from a centreback on those clips. As well as having made a couple of high priced transfers already.

wonder if we could tempt them with a loan to buy - get him off their wage bill and less risk for us.

we have offered a loan to buy. HTFC would prefer a perm but they want him off there wage bill so are accepting of loan to buy.
