I have it on pretty good authority that this is a done deal as JOC cover.
Im not trying to be the next coming of Cadette just passing on what Ive heard.
Harry had leadboots and he did ok.He's the ideal replacement for JOCs position but the fact he has had a serious injury and has been out a while and now has metal plates in his feet is somewhat concerning
Please avail us with more knowledge, oh great Dublinblade!
The foot injury needn't be a stumbling block. It's the opposite foot to JOC. So the plan is to bring him in and transfer his good foot to JOC so JOC will have 2 good feet and can carry on, whilst Kongolo recuperates from 2 damaged feet but will be available later in the season.
Mate if I had more Id post. I'm accidentally ITK here more than because I've got a huge network in professional footballFrom what I've been told though Hemmingway is a bit behind the curve on where this one is at and I should add that Kongolo aswell as Huddersfield are keen on this.
Oh and were looking at loan with option not £9m perm as reported, Huddersfield woudl prefer a perm but jsut want him off the wage bill so will take loan and loan fee.
He is a black JOC/Enda clone.

He's called DPD....................Daft Punk DudeTwo comments:
1) Christ do his teammates fancy finishing any of his crosses?!
2) Anyone recognise that striker through on goal who he catches up to and tackles at 1.33 in?

In the Athletic stuff they reference, Sutcliffe says today the board held talks with Huddersfield over him. A piece by the Fulham correspondent also says that their move for Kongolo has “unravelled at the 11th hour”.

To be fair, you could apply the same logic to us and strikers. We have scored 1 goal in our last 6 league matches. No self respecting defender is going to join Fulham unless it's a last payday. They can't defend.
wonder if we could tempt them with a loan to buy - get him off their wage bill and less risk for us.
