The ⚽ is now in your court.

You know what Wilder has asked you for, support him,he will probably be asking you for more after the news about JOC.

Sink or swim over the next few months....................you decide.

There's a thread called a message to the prince, couldn't you have put this in that?

O'Connell is going to be a big miss ,with the best will in the world players like him don't grow on trees especially at such short notice, a good loan maybe the answer for now.

Doubt he'll be pumping that much in tbh, especially in our current financial position and risk of relegation amongst Covid issues.

We have a good loan in Ampado, defence was OK today, goals are the problem and we know they are working on it, stop panicking ffs!!

He's given him over 80 million too sign Freeman, Berge Robinson, McBurnie, Mousset, Bogle, Lowe etc. Only Berge is starting and he is just ok. Two have left the club already. The others not starting or not even in the match day squad.

The notion he is not being backed is not really quite true. I can see why the board may waver giving him another 20 million.

Wilder might be the best manager we have ever had but his signings when he has spent a lot of money have not been good enough. Tin hat on. There said it. His best players have been free signings/cheap buys (granted Egan cost 4 million) and players for 500K

Don’t often disagree with you but Berge isn’t just ok.
I also think McBurnie is usually a starter and that Bogle and (in particular) Lowe aren’t here just as backup.
But that’s just me 👍

If they arent here as back up why are they not playing or even on the bench?

McBurnie is not a regular and to start the season if he was the main man up top would be playing.

Berge could go onto be great (has potential) but currently his performances have seen more average ones than good ones for me. He needs to step up and do more

Strongly agree. You'll get heavily criticised as sadly this place is becoming a bit of a toxic echo chamber where any criticism, however justified it may be, is automatically deemed wrong.

Deciding on one opinion and stifling all other debate is never a good way to ensure that sufficient analysis takes place.

Berge just OK
He's the best midfielder we have had for decades.

The Prince can't afford to fund a Premier League or even Championship club on his lonesome (his words, not mine). He should have cashed out when he won the court case: - he got into ownership "to make money" so why he hasn't cashed out is anyone's guess. If/when we go down and the parachute payments run out how is he going to afford to run the club? Spending a slice of the PL cash after getting full ownership, - after years of running the club on relative fumes - doesn't count as major investment. Our wage bill is around half of Burnley's FFS. Wilder is still covering holes in the squad that have been there since McCabe was part owner and is being blamed for spending 8 million on a pair of Championship wing back or a goalkeeper - a position that has been loaned for the past three seasons! Berge excepted (a unique circumstance) every player Wilder gets is his five or sixth choice, rather than his first or second. Not good enough.
In truth, this current unravelling could have happened during any of the previous three or four campaigns. An injury to any of our four or five key players and we were done. Paul Coutts anyone...?

Ok everyone knows we need a striker.what to do about it.
I watched Brighton v Man Utd on bt sport yesterday.Neal Maupay had a great game.apart from the penalty he gave away.Played 3 Scored 3
Good in the air good pace scored a great goal. in my opinion just the player we need..
way things up i am know expert so i,m assuming.
Cost £30m.we sould go for him.he will help us stay up.
Relegation will cost us big time and players will be sold.
Stay in the premier league millions more money.higher wage structure.
If the prince does not have the money, surely he has contacts to get the money.
This is my humble opinion. and a example.
People might thing pie in the sky talking rubbish load a bollocks whatever.
Fellow Blades what can you come up with and or opinions.
We must Stay in the premier league whatever the cost.

So True. Its the SUFC Way.

In a weird way Wilder not having a trusted front partnership is not helping the fringe players, ie the two new fullbacks, get on the bench or play. In reality Wilder is playing 4 front players in each game, as I don't think he knows what his best pairing is so is trying to cover it with players on the bench. This reduces the spots available for the wide players.

Berge just ok!? Did you not watch today’s game

Shut up you massive tool.

It's comments like that why I am starting to come on this forum less and less. Personal abuse with no reasoned argument. It has become quite an unpleasant place to come on at times and why I only dip in and out these days. Shame but it never seemed to be this bad. Disagree with opinions but telling people shut up and calling them a tool. On my match report I got told it was fucking rubbish also with a thinly veiled personal attack. I envy Foxy and Linz. This forum is a fantastic place and gas been for years but last few months I bet they are wondering whether it is worth all the hassle.

So why did he start v Wolves then? Seems wrong way round if we are easing him back to full fitness.
He probably thought at the time he was fitter than he really was. Have you had foot infection before? Some good days and some bad days!

Seeks same with Jack then. Our fitness guys have been lauded but those two and Fleck don't seem to have been fully fit all season. Yet all have been playing to some degree.

Lowe and Bogle were not 4th choices, neither was McB

Would be a shame Chris does not get the money he needs to buy a striker.that would mean The Prince is no better than Mccabe.
