All playing below the level we know that they can,so whats up all carrying injuries

JOC ,not seen him gallavant down the left side in either of the current games,is he being nulliefied by the oppo's tacktics.

Stevens, defending at set pieces is poor, fair enough he got barged by JOC in the Wolves game, but lamely tried to stop the goalscorer last nite.

Fleck,is just becoming more annonymous, baring for for the shot hitting the post in Wolves game, does not seem to be willing to drive forward like he can.

think it’s harsh on JOC. He’s made a couple of errors but this is essentially his preseason after missing much of the back end of last season and all the preseason games. Also he was hardly going to be in the e opposition box yesterday when we played 80+ mins with 10 men.

Stevens is a little more worrying as his form has dropped off. Hopefully a push from Lowe might help him.

fleck is just always crap until there is frost on the ground. He always starts the season slowly and then he is always near enough our best performer after that.

Agree about Fleck, but it usually takes him a few games to get going so I've got fingers crossed.

Stevens, just not putting the performances in he did for the first 3/4 of last season. Needs to stepup soon given the performance Lowe put in against Burnley.

JOC doing his pre-season on the job isn't he?

JOC literally played in a team of 10 players for 80minutes yesterday. If he did his usual overlapping we’d of probably got spanked on the break.

Think some are forgetting JOC's not played much preseason and he didn't play much after the restart.

As for the other two I would agree they've lost some form since both came back from injury last season.

I think Ossy has looked fresh though and should be given a chance tbh.

I think this is a big reason our creativity has dropped off over the last few months. Our left hand side has our more technically gifted players but offensively they are all playing well below the levels they were in the early part of last season. None are prepared to take risks and it has all become very safe.

I blame Scotland - Fleck was brilliant until he finally got called up and he’s been off it ever since!!

This is what happens when you get into a losing rut. You start doubting yourself, not taking as many risks. Playing safer.

As many have said this will be Wilders biggest test. Let's see what he can do.

The other thing that hasn't been touched upon is whether Wilder has lost the dressing room.. having a contract rebel still hanging around the first team isnt ideal and although Wilder has said Lunny is relaxed about the situation, no doubt players chat away from management just like in any other workforce..

Can’t fault the criticism of all three. But whereas we’ve now got more than adequate replacements for Fleck and Stevens. I still feel O’Connell is the best player at the club in his position.

Is anyone else regularly screaming at the tv with these three plus Osborn’s inability to kick it with their right foot. Enda regularly goes the wrong way, often into trouble, to avoid his right foot. Lots of examples again today including when Osborn got in right at the end and curled a left footer into the keepers arms rather than a right footer into the path of our strikers. Maybe it’s a reflection of lower confidence levels.

At this level I just think it’s really poor to be limited to one foot. Unless you’re like Messi of course.

It might seem like a pedantic point but if the opposition prepare properly they will know this and it makes us much more predictable down the left hand side.

We created some good stuff down the left in the first half todat including the Lundstram chance, not much in the second half really.

I know Stevens has been at fault for a couple of goals this season but i think he'd be a good short term option at LCB. He can get forward like JOC does by overlapping and Lowe can come it at LWB. Arsenal play Tierney at LCB and Spuds same with Davies who are better than Enda but i wouldn't say as strong.

The more he doesn’t pick Fleck the longer it will take for him to get in to his very best form, I’m surprised at Wilder because Fleck is like this every season never mind one where we’ve had all the disruption of this wank COVID bollocks. Osborn just simply isn’t in Flecks class, for all his effort and energy it just isn’t enough quality for the league we currently find ourselves in.

Stevens needs to go to LCB if he isn’t going to play Ampadu there, or he can go to a flat back 4 and let Stevens concentrate on solely defending, then we can get an extra body going forward and someone who specialises in doing just that.

One things for sure and that’s something has to change from our last few games at the very least, it’s not been good enough, we’ve lost our freedom ness and flexibility of anyone getting forward and fuck knows why, it’s absolutely shite to watch now.

TBF Wizadry we did just play Arsenal who are amazing going forward so perhaps he was thinking Osborn would give us a bit more solidity than Fleck in midfield. I think you are right though we need our leaders who are now international players (like Fleck, McBurnie, Ampadu, Egan and Stevens) to be selected, step up and perform at at least 7/10 or 8/10 levels. If they can do that we will probably get a result.

It doesn't 'feel' like we are going to get a new LCB in to cover JOC does it? So I wonder if Enda does come in at LCB. Makes us really weak in the air at centre back though. Looking at the rumour mill I would say Jake Cooper is the player who would give that aerial power at CB we have been lacking and someone like him at least may stop us getting bossed by Andy Carroll in the 2 games against Newcastle.

Not so much the rumour mill but me screaming to get Cooper in on every social media platform available LOL

Just waiting for him to resurface I guess it does seem odd, I'm hoping United are just playing their cards close to their chest.
