Whichever you dress it up these are the going rates nowadays for top potential talent. Brentford have been using this model for years.

Say we don't want to pay this TW and someone else does and then loans him to The Championship and he bags a decent level of goals. We'd then be looking at £20m plus just like we are with Brewster.

So this how desperate we are.
Paying millions for a 19 yr old kid who's never played a first team game at any level.
And expecting him to save us from relegation in the PL by scoring the chances we currently can't create.
How has it come to this ?
I've nothing against Folarin as a player , but he's miles away from being our saviour.

I'm also of the mind that, Balogun could turn out great & if he's coming in as well as someone else then it seems like the type of signing we should be making.

But if he's what we're pinning our hopes on. Eesh. Does seem desperate. Wouldn't imagine Wilder is happy about it either.

I've seen Balogun, I've seen Brewster.

I don't want Brewster.

Give me Balotelligun.

Unfortunately other clubs no that we are desperate to sign at least one striker, we were anyway but Mousset getting injured has made us even more desperate.

We are now in a sellers market. I trust the board to do the right thing with the clubs money, but we can't wait much longer to get someone in.

£10m may be dependant one various targets....say goal return...staying up for 3 years...if so, we stay up and have to pay £10m then it’s great value.

save us from relagation. ?
Chances we can't create ?
How desperate we are ?

This kid has played no senior football. £10m is mental.
Anything over £5m would be crazy for a club in our position.

Why is it mental he has a better record at youth and reserve level than Nketiah you are always taking a risk in this game and from what I have read from the Arsenal fans this kid is the real deal.

You're probably right - do nothing at all and keep our fingers crossed!

Is he good? I honestly don't think I've ever seen him play.
Would this really be in place of Brewster?

People banging on about unproven talent for those old enough to remember the last time we were in the Premier League we took a chance on an unknown kid by the name of Colin-Kazim-Richards and he scored 1 of the best goals i have ever seen by a young lad at the Lane.

We need that raw talent and that kid according to Arsenal fans is a natural finisher and is destined for the top they rate him that highly.

If we sign him give the lad a chance, all of you saying we would be mad to spend a penny over 5m!

The reality is young talented players rarely ever go for their market value unless the other club is in financial trouble or has a release clause.

Think a few of our fans need to get a grip I personally think signing young hungry talent could be a godsend to us.

We don't have the money for both so you'd have to assume so. I also can't see Wilder carrying 7 strikers in our squad.

I'm sure he's good at youth level, but he's never played a senior game. The PL is a very physical place to be dropped into, especially with weight on your shoulders which he'd have here.

I respect your opinion, but CKR had played about 50 games of senior football when he rocked up at Bramall Lane. He was built like a man and was already about 21/22 from memory. There's no comparison.

That was league 1 level that CKR played at Balogun has the talent and I would rather see quality young talent given a chance than see players that are clearly not good enough given a shirt game after game.

I won't go as far to say 'pin our hopes on' because it was only a season a go that Moose and McB were our big signings but we seem to be screaming out for a striker more than ever and to go for 2 in Burke and a youngster seems a huge gamble even for Wilder.

Money wise I keep bringing up the Cash saving, but I suppose that's when we were bidding for Brewster on loan Id guess.

I'm still not writing off two strikers to be honest, especially if this lad comes for around the same as what West Brom gave us for Robinson.
