Could’ve probably stepped forward and controlled the ball with his foot and then picked it up. Probably. Maybe. Maybe not. I would love to know what our GK coach thinks though because it looked awful didn’t it. Bet we all saw that header and said ā€œif that goes in....ā€.

He appears to dive like an overweight Sunday league keeper, but maybe that's just because we're used to Henderson's athleticism.

He seems to have a technical/timing flaw. He seems to be about 0.5 seconds to late to jump into his split step which isn't huge but in the Premier league it's enough for goals to go in. It can and I'm sure will be worked on though. He's only 22.

no, he shouldn't have saved it - he should have got closer to it though - which I believe is a similar point to the 2nd goal v Wolves.

DarrenWard has work to do - and quickly.

I don't think Hendo would have got any closer either. We had no one on the front post which may have helped. I'd have to see it again, but it wasn't good defending.

I said this last week, and Alan Smith said it too on commentary, there just doesn’t seem to be much spring there...and when you’re not the biggest of keepers, this could spell trouble.

Plus his footwork is a bit shit.

Darren Ward will sort him out - he’s still young enough to improve

No fuckin way should anyone be having a go at Ramsdale for that. If he was at the other side of the net he'd have got beat at his near post instead.

Solid display by the lad. Hendos gone. Rammers will prove to be a very good player for us and could do nothing about that goal tonight. Blame the defence for switching off for 5 seconds if anyone.

Don’t think he should have saved it BUT was surprised how he didn’t get anywhere near it.

The header last week from Wolves was the same. Don’t think Ramsdale should have saved that either but his lack of spring meant he got no where near it.

No worries so far....besides it’s too early to judge.

Can we please pin this post and have it for every single game where United concede a goal or more? It's really entertaining and quite the thing when the keeper can't stop the ball going past him for whatever reason...Cos let's be honest, we all expected a clean sheet 38 times this season, didn't we?

...tune in next time for "should Billy have emulated Maradona's (they are the same height, after all) 2nd goal versus England in the 86 World Cup and dribbled past half the opposition team before calmly sitting the keeper on his arse (thereby causing a furious surge of 'should he have sat on his arse/should he have saved that?' posts on the opposition fan forum) and walking it into their net" .

For crying out loud...

You have no clue regarding goalkeepers.how is fifa20.come into the real world.

He's not 8 feet fucking tall and also bad marking led to the goal; if you still think he should have stopped it then you just have a personal bias against Ramsdale, period
