This has been a rule for the past 2 seasons.

You'll get nowhere with being reasonable and stating facts round here son!

It just doesn’t seem right really, OK it’s our fault we missed the penalty, but two clear goal scoring opportunities and one team is down to 10 and the other isn’t.

But what can you do?

just seems like we have shocking luck at villa park. because that red card wasnt. because ive seen that 50/50 tussle every week & its not violent conduct, its not last man & its not denying a goalscoring opportunity. if thats the standard for a red card it will be 7 a side

Thought we handled going down to 10 quite well.. not a sending off for me..Long way to go, but hopefully nick one on the break.. Pushing Bash into midfield hopefully pays off, as he has the legs to get up and support Burke..nearly paid off, shame about the pen.

Only player on pitch from Burnley who took a pen is Berge so can't understand why he didn't take it.. Unless he didn't fancy it.. COYRAWW.

Started poorly again. We let them put several unchallenged crosses in before Egan got caught out (and was rightly sent off)

We've played a lot better with 10 than we were with 11. Lovely play by Burke for the penalty. Poor pen for me. Too slow and an easy height for the keeper. I'm not sure why Lunny is our penalty take. He's not the obvious choice.

We're defending and marking much better towards the end of the half. Issue is limited opportunities to break.
