True it doesn't, but it's not through any fault of the Prince that Chris hasn't had opportunity to show us, is what I suppose I'm trying to say. If he starts rejecting opportunities of genuine outside investment coming in then it's a different story

But as we are less than two weeks from the start of the season, I'd say it's been pathetic full stop even if we do get a couple of "bodies" in.

Henderson is better than Ramsdale, and nobody else has come in, that makes us a weaker side.
Sharp and McGoldrick are a year older and weren't very sparkling last year, that makes us a weaker side.
Freeman has gone, Lundstram isn't happy because he wants more than fourpence ha'penny a week , this makes us a weaker side.

And the out of character (or is it in character) hoofball we reverted back to in most of the games since the restart suggests that this is going to continue without anybody of a creative nature coming in.

Seems to have confirmed himself as Readings new no 11. I suppose that doesn’t mean much but though it was worth the update

Interesting. I would imagine if we do want Meite, it'll be a long and drawn out process, since it was with Swift and that never ended well it seems. They've got the new manager also of course.
 
First game back on Saturday. Came off the bench and 8 minutes later scored against Barnsley.
 

The Reading chairman doesn't seem to want to sell this Summer. Certainly u-turned on the John Swift sale. They've started the season quite well.
