He is arguing that the restrictions and lockdowns haven't been a proportionate response to the scale of the threat.

This thread is becoming like one of those FB groups.

The problem is, he's taken an entrenched position on this topic and only posts opinion pieces and nuggets of scientific evidence that supports his position (completely ignoring any evidence that goes against what he chooses to believe).

He's far from the only person who does it (it seems to be the way of the modern world, especially on social media), but he still deserves to be called out for it.

He only wins defensive headers, when attacking he either gets in battles he shouldn't and gives away free kicks or ends up in the floor. He doesn't threaten, can't trap a ball for toffee, oh and he doesn't score goals. I'm sorry, the reason why we are shitting it re signing a striker is because he's failed.

When did you make your mind up regarding Mcburnie failing? Was it early on last season? during lockdown? or after we lost to Wolves? Just for the record I cant make my mind up whether he's going to be a success or not, sometimes I think he looks shit hot and offers loads and gives defenders a torrid time, then the next week he seems anonymous. The lad is only 23, there's plenty of time for him to improve, I think last season was tough as in it was stop/ start, learning how we play, in and out of the team, big price tag to live up to, for me I'd prefer to to see what he does this season before writing him off. Its a big season this year for him though, I think he'll step up to it but only time will tell.
