Might be nothing but he's followed by Deano and Kyron Gordon so maybe?

.....Sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow. What may transpire....😎

I got followed by a nasty Jack Russell once, cunt nearly had my ankle.
My Jack Russell, Holly, was the best footballing dog. Bude beach. Widemouth Bay. Many happy families on the beach had a great afternoon as she dribbled the ball round the beach. Fat Willy's surf Shack enjoyed.
Right signing news.....Where are we? I'll look around on t'web😎

Can you go to Brewsters house dressed as a Dominos delivery driver and ask him when he opens the door?

I looked at his interview no way is it brewster or we are still wanting a loan

Negative round here these days innit..

Also I can see that in the last few hours Skybet must have received some bets on him joining Palace.

We’re still favourites...but have drifted from 1/4 out to 1/3.
Crystal Palace were 2nd favourites at 8/1 but are now 5/2.

  • I think the back end of last season Losses
  • the start of this seasons losses
  • the loss of Hendo
  • the assumed lack of funds
  • the loss of key targets cause we can’t compete
  • last seasons 9th place looking like a mountain
is un nerving the most dedicated supporter. The above adds up and doesn’t bode well. But I’m still hoping Wilder can pull a golden rabbit out of the hat.

Yes, people putting 2 and 2 together because of Hodgson's comments about being after another striker and the news making the rounds that Brewster is available

Betting markets mean very little unless it truly comes out of nowhere

Will be turned on it's head tomorrow when you get a tweet from @SheffieldUnited that is simply "☕✍"

Henderson is a miss but we've attempted to replace him as well as anyone could have hoped in my opinion. Didn't cheap out.

We had a meh end to last season, same as we had a meh end to our first Championship season, but it wasn't relegation form as many people seem to think.

The lack of funds is people seeing what they want to see, and I don't know why they want to see it. We're not Man City but we're spending some money. Look at the state of Burnley if you want to see a club with no money.

Key targets is paper talk apart from Cash isn't it? And we don't look to have done badly there with Bogle and Lowe for half the price.

I just don't get why everyone is so defeatist already. Maybe in a few months if it's not going well, but because of Covid from when the squad got back together we're still in what would normally be our preseason.

Couple of games against lower level opponents were ok, had a disappointing first 10 against Wolves, but since we've been clearly improving and getting up to speed. It's unfortunate we have to do it in competitive games though.

It's clear we have issues, need a striker, Sharp isn't a starter but seems to be starting, look a little weaker defensively but there's 3 weeks of window left and 37 league games.

We very simply aren’t prepared for the season to start.
Our team relies on team work and working harder than the opponents. Both things come with game time and prep.
Most of these prem sides rely on individual skill of some exceptional players, so while we are below our best we will struggle.

We have to hope Wilder can keep the lads positive, driven and full of desire because we will need them to keep the faith and keep going to start pulling some results out. We are desperate for a striker...at least one, and until we get that one we need to battle on. We hope Wilder and the team pull it out of the bag, but until that player/players arrive we are goi g to struggle.
And Wilder...and the team know this. But we just don’t have the funds to simply go out and pay the money to get the deal done, this is why all our transfers seem to take an eternity to conclude and why a fair few go elsewhere.

But keep real...not that long ago we were a big club in league one, picking up free transfers identified by Adkins....nobody above league one wanted the players we were looking to sign, and on top of that we had to sell our best young talent. I believe it will come, but we won’t have the season like last, and we will be in the relegation battle this season.
It is what it is, no point whining and ranting about it, if you want silly signings and spending beyond our means then maybe the blades ain’t for you. Villa/Fulham is south.

Well said on every point.

Whilst we should all keep wanting the team to do better and of course we all feel disappointed when they don't play well, I am continually astonished at how easily quite a lot of posters on here hit the panic button. Season, after season, after chuffing season.

This has probably been the strangest, most unorthodox 6 months or so ever in football, including the 'pre season' if it can even be called that. We now have players who lack game time, who are still trying to adapt to playing in empty stadiums and with new players to bed in. It's going to take a bit of time before we are our free flowing best again. And yes admittedly we have a bit of an issue to sort out up front, but to here some people talk you'd think we scraped survival by a point last season and still had Higdon as our main striker.

Last night saw the latest meltdown following the comment from the fans forum about the 3-2 vote, with immediate assumptions that we have already spent up. None of us know how much money is there to spend, and what didn't get discussed at length on here were the comments from the owner, Chairman and CEO about how persuasive Wilder is when it comes to transfers, how he always gets more than what is originally budgeted, and how they trust him unreservedly to deliver.

Some should take note.
